MotoGP » Crutchlow eyed WSBK during rookie season

@ samas, ha, I knew you weren't calling me names, I was just messing about. I don't blame people for not pushing a bike OVER the limit regualrly, but I understand you have to do that every now and again to find out what the limit is. Rossi had a few nasty moments while pushing and just refused to do it after a while. I actually don't blame him either, although of course it was disappointing. Cal's a bit more fearless I think. My only concern would be, he had to push to get that factory ride. He's got the big pay cheque now, will the same motivation be there?? Only time will tell.

@ samas, who you calling a cont?? :) yeah, we've been over that same old argument a billion times on this site. ad nauseam!! why did you have to bring it up on this thread? it is extremely boring, and troll like. Plus, I notice you didn't answer my questions like I guessed. We all expected more from Rossi. It was a disaster, but he did better than anyone else in Ducati while he was there, and did better than Dovi is doing now, so, my point being, he didn't exactly "swan around", like you stated. He's human though, and it took it's toll on him. The good thing for Cal though, he's going in with his eyes wide open, and the Rossi saga takes the pressure off him to some extent. I think he'll do OK there. What "OK" is in Ducati though, I don't know any more. Oh, and 7 premier titles and currently sitting fourth in the standings when people had written him off completely is just talking the talk is it???? Please. Give him some credit!!

@ samas, a bit strange that you used the comment to put Rossi down. Its totally off topic, but, I'll take the bait for now. You said Rossi was "swanning around" on the ducati, but ......he had more points at this stage of the season last year than Dovi does now. How do you explain that?? Does that mean you also think Dovi is "swanning around"..... more so than Rossi???? That seems to be exactly what you're saying. I doubt you'll answer that question though. You just like trolling Rossi into threads Also, therefore, by your logic, Cal will definitely be beating Dovi?? You probably wont answer that either Back on topic,I think Cal's style might suit the ducati more, Casey commented one time that he didn't think his and Cal's styles were massively similar, but they dont mind the bike moving around beneath them and there were some similar traits. so yes,if Casey thinks Cal is more suited to the Ducati, than thats probably the best endorsement you could get for riding that thing

MotoGP » Wet start to Casey Stoner’s MotoGP return

@benignlyindifferent - My thoughts too. Total PR text book stuff. He's good at leaving himself doors open. Fair play to him. Would love to see him back, but he's making sure that IF he returns, it's on his terms, and he'll be handsomely rewarded. If he decides he doesn't fancy a competitive return, he's still getting a blast on that bike. and keeping his foot in the door too. Pretty smart move. Hope the weathers better next time out.

MotoGP » Marquez: 'Reality' when Pedrosa, Lorenzo are fit

Still impressed with this kid. More and more each time he talks, and delivers on track. When JLO an DP are 100% fit, of course they'll be back in contention, but I don't think they'll disappear into the distance every race, maybe on a couple. Dani was unbelievably good in the second half of last season, but he only realistically had JLO to fight with for most of it with Casey being out/injured, Ben being cursed, and the tech 3 guys mainly racing themselves . Its different this season We might therefore see a few scrappier races at the front, which would be great, and which Marc is definitely fit for
