MotoGP » Rossi: Better than Brno, but still fourth

he had a great start, then got passed for the first few laps, then pulled it back. Whatever happened in laps 2 - 6 cost him dearly. We were just outside the first corner watching it, and watching him reel AB and SB in was impressive, but his pace dipped again, then picked up to finish fourth. Definitely something not at 100%, but I think its getting better.

MotoGP » Hayden: Carbon frame had a lot of potential

@painless No, I'm employed, by a global software company, and i do pretty well, so i don't need to be patronised about office politics. There are two types of people. Those who tow the party line and try and look superior by using hindsight, which anyone can do, or those who try and improve things. And yes, the latter might upset people and make mistakes, and the former love it when they make mistakes, but i know who i respect more. The fact you say "yellow panty brigade" shows your real motivation for agreeing with nicky, so maybe I'm not the only one actually being negative

MotoGP » Hayden: Carbon frame had a lot of potential

@73 mach 3. You say "now that he can speak" erm...what?? He was a world champion. why could he not speak. I've always liked nicky, but this reeks a little like that episode in south park with "captain hindsight". Easy to speak up now nicky. The yamaha and Honda have improved, and the ducati is the exact same distance behind. This means the ducati has also improved at the same pace as the yam and Honda.therefore he's talking sh1t and looking for headlines. The ducati got results because casey stoner was an awesome talent andcould ride the frick out of anything. Thats it.

MotoGP » Hayden: Carbon frame had a lot of potential

Yeah. Exactly. Nicky didn't say anything until he got sacked! And people think that's a good thing?? maybe it's just me, but if he had an issue moving to the aluminium frame he should have spoke up at the time, rather than doing it now. What good does it do now, eh? When the aluminium frame came in, he said it was better. Now he's no job, he's all like, oh, we should have stayed carbon. Sorry, i don't like being negative, but that is poor form from nicky. Sorry 69. I don't got time for what you have to say any more. Its either towing the party line, or bitching.

MotoGP » Yamaha seeking Silverstone ‘revenge’

@ poddy - rossi won the race in Assen in front of the two hondas the time Lorenzo was out. I dont think he could have done much more than that. Lorenzo has been beaten by both hondas as much as rossi has this season. I'm not claiming Rossi is faster (or as fast) as Lorenzo this season, but the Hondas would still be winning no matter who was on the number 2 yamaha seat. Who do you think should be there? Ben Spies?

MotoGP » Czech MotoGP, Brno - Free Practice (1)

@ Hoggy - None of it means too much at this stage. However, something I've noticed about Rossi , even in the Duc days, on race day, he can keep pace with people who were within 0.5 of him in qualifying. Its something I always keep an eye on, and it seems to work regularly enough for it being a "finger in the air" type of notion for the race ahead. People who qualify more than 0.5 ahead of him, disappear. (Cal being the exception that proves the rule - He's an awesome qualifier!!)
