MotoGP » Valentino Rossi stamps out Suzuki speculation

yep, whatever happens, I'll cheer him on 'til he retires. and yeah, he's human. a poor 2 years, a broken leg, a busted shoulder and the tragedy with marco (rip) will have taken its toll, but you gotta give credit to him still another win or 2, and he might just get the confidence to push for those couple of tenths a lap he's missing. its not much!

MotoGP » Wet start to Casey Stoner’s MotoGP return

@benignlyindifferent - My thoughts too. Total PR text book stuff. He's good at leaving himself doors open. Fair play to him. Would love to see him back, but he's making sure that IF he returns, it's on his terms, and he'll be handsomely rewarded. If he decides he doesn't fancy a competitive return, he's still getting a blast on that bike. and keeping his foot in the door too. Pretty smart move. Hope the weathers better next time out.

MotoGP » Marquez: 'Reality' when Pedrosa, Lorenzo are fit

Still impressed with this kid. More and more each time he talks, and delivers on track. When JLO an DP are 100% fit, of course they'll be back in contention, but I don't think they'll disappear into the distance every race, maybe on a couple. Dani was unbelievably good in the second half of last season, but he only realistically had JLO to fight with for most of it with Casey being out/injured, Ben being cursed, and the tech 3 guys mainly racing themselves . Its different this season We might therefore see a few scrappier races at the front, which would be great, and which Marc is definitely fit for

MotoGP » Official: Cal Crutchlow to Ducati MotoGP team

@ Nate 44 - Yeah, but Audi are in charge now and starting to get their weight behind it a lot more . If major change is going to come (after THEIR failure around Stoner and Rossi), it's going to come now!! If it doesn't, he'll be negotiating a new contract as a factory rider. Like you say "get a grip" Smell zee coffee. Zee germans are here!

MotoGP » Official: Cal Crutchlow to Ducati MotoGP team

To everyone strongly criticising Cal's move, try operating in the real world guys. This is a fantastic achievement and opportunity for Cal. If he makes it work, he'll be a total hero, if it is a complete flop, he'll not have far to look for another ride, and he'd be in a better position than he was in Tech 3, and a sh1t load richer. He's on the only factory seat available, replacing a former world champion and in a team that has now, finally, acknowledged its flaws, and has major funding to improve. What planet do some of you people operate on? If any of you were in his position and turned this down, you'd be the idiots! Please, think in the real world.
