Dani already said his rear tyre choice was correct and he always looks to use a softer compound if he thinks it will last the race. Remember it wasnt a soft it was a medium he used and lots of riders went with the same tyre. Also reported post race MM tyre looked much more worn up than Danis.

Mighty impressive start for MM season, cant be denied. Watching him with that style is a pure pleasure, but I cant help feeling that if he carries on riding like he does he's going to get bitten and bitten hard by the bike at some point. My money is still on Dani to get the better of him from the next race onwards, although it's worrying that the shoulder is still giving him trouble, not good at all.

@Overrated Brit - Unregistered You need to quit the excuses and give credit where it's due. Cal beat Rossi because he was the better rider on the day and thats a fact. That he did it with less testing and on a sat bike makes it an even more impressive achievement whether you like it or not.

I'd say Crutchlow deserves a little more respect after mashing the 9 time champ on a sat bike at a new circuit he did not test on. Some of the yellow pantie brigade really do seem to lack more than a few grey cells!

That may well be the case, but I seem to remember when JL switched to the Bridgestones the wall remained and remained at Rossis insistence with reports that Rossi was not sharing data with JL.
