F1 » The Bulls are coming – Hamilton

107SS2009: the most frequently replaced parts are the MGU-K drive to the engine (replaced on all Renault engines in parc freme before the race
If that's the case I would say this is pointing to the ERS side as the likely culprit for the lack of performance from the Renault PU not the ICE part. It would also explain the need to burn more fuel to make up for inefficiencies in the ERS application.

Yossarian:
TR1: " Envy is the religion of the mediocre. It comforts them, it responds to the worries that gnaw at them and finally it rots their souls, allowing them to justify their meanness and their greed until they believe these to be virtues. "
Nice quote, very apt ! Your coffee table must be far more interesting than my copy of Motocourse 1995 !!
Ha ha But I have to agree he should be there on credit,,,not cash. Ohhhhh see what I did there? :p

MotoGP » Crutchlow: 'Lorenzo style' doesn't work on Ducati

I just don't get this. Why would CC try and ride a Ducati JL stylee when every Yamaha rider including CC when he was on one said if they try riding like JL they would crash and burn! Surely the same would apply to a Ducati? It seems there is still only one man that could get the better of a Ducati gp bike, It would be interesting if he did some testing for them just to see the times, but that wont happen given the crappy way they treated him.

MotoGP » Honda explains standard ECU agreement

TalentFan: @ HRC The bore limit naturally limits things as this eliminates trying to get max cc at absolute minimum stroke
HRC@TalentFan: Of course it does, why do you think they limit bore size to 81mm in the first place
Which is exactly what I pointed out above in one line of text, which is all that is needed, but I think you knew that anyway, so why not just agree? You can never have too much power as long as you can use it effectively. And lastly I don't need to look up things I learned decades ago thanks.

MotoGP » Honda explains standard ECU agreement

TalentFan: I believe that an oversquare bore/stroke does not of itself limit rpms..
Of course it does, why do you think they limit bore size to 81mm in the first place, the rest is just pedantry your waffling about MPS when probably 2% of the people reading this will have a clue what your on about, no need for it.
However, WSBK engines and (bad example maybe) the customer Honda RCV show that super high revs arent necessary to make more than enough prod..
You need to go argue that with Nicky Hayden chummy, i think he'll put you straight.
