MotoGP » Lorenzo: It feels like no traction control

TalentFan: I know exactly what TC is. And how it works. And JL's TC is clearly so effective it manages to control the rear wheel and the power delivery so well that a world class rider was unable to feel where the limit was and where the electronic intervention began. He didn't even know hiw much TC and thought it was less till viewing data traces..
And I quote "When I want to open the throttle and be aggressive, I lose the rear" So it's so effective it manages to control the rear wheel and the power delivery so well that it doesn't stop him losing the rear end through lack of grip. Yeah we can see you understand what TC does. Your problem is you only see what you want to when you read an article.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: It feels like no traction control

TalentFan: JL says he didnt think the TC was cutting in much, then traces showed it was. Which means significant TC electronic intervention which the rider does not control being employed by the electronics! And he could not tell onboard. How can you draw that conclusion from this?.
Well you better go and tell JL he's imagining losing the rear through a lack of grip then. Because clearly you know better than he does. Here is something to help you along, courtesy of Collins English Dictionary The definition of TC is a method of preventing wheels from spinning when traction is applied by limiting the amount of power supplied to the wheel.

TalentFan: To my knowledge I have no idea just how much Ducati have or have not disagreed with other MSMA members (though as the other 2 always vote together Ducati know for certain they can never win any vote that Honda doesnt sanction it seems)...
What I don't get, is how you conveniently omit the increase in minimum weight and the lifting of testing restrictions for 2012 which both benefited Ducati as they changed from lighter carbon to heavier alloy frames. These are the only two instances I know of with any sort of credible substance behind them, but I still view them with scepticism. I

MotoGP » Dani Pedrosa keen to get started

As a team manager he is exactly the kind of guy you want in your team, he is one of the fastest riders out there, and will accrue a formidable amount of points for the team if he misses out on a WC. IMO this is how he secures his seat and would be in my team purely for that reason. Who is there better to replace him?
