F1 » Italian Grand Prix – Free practice results (2)

Sasha Alexandrovich: Looks like Renault is def. 2 seconds slower than Mercedes. Last year it was .5s in FP2.
Mercedes is running there new updated engine. The customers haven't received there's yet.
If Mercedes are using /has introduced "tokens developed" power units on their two WO6'S only, that means Mercedes are using two different specifications power units on the grid.
Surely, if Mercedes use their tokens for development of their power unit, then in fairness, if they have to hand these development to the customer team, the customer team should have to forfeit the appropriate number of tokens. It's Good to Talk.

107SS2009: OnTheOtherHand, Just a simple reminder if you don't mind, A power unite manufacturer may only use and supply to customer teams one power unite specification. Power unites upgraded/modified for cost or reliability reasons are not considered by the FIA as being of new specification to that homologated before such modification were permitted, so a manufacturer can ran both upgraded/modified and non upgraded/modified power unites. On the other hand when a manufacturer upgrades his power unite by using development tokens, the power unite so upgraded is considered by the FIA as being of a new specification, and the rules says that a manufacturer can only use and supply one specification. Power unite customer teams have no such things as development tokens, or any say in their use.
Thanks for clearing that up. So you are saying, if Mercedes have used tokens for the upgrade/modifications, they are to distribute this unit to the customer also. What if the

F1 » Lauda upset with ‘unacceptable’ Mercedes mistake

richard:
Soundofspeed: Actually we were debating fine until you accuse me of fanaticism, which incidentally, only works on fanatics. All I've ever written were facts and never personal opinions. I have even written it in chronological so there are no confusions.
blind fanaticism is when someone states what they perceive as facts, to support one particular driver, without realising or accepting that the driver and his team have both stated the exact opposite. do you believe that merc and lulu are lying? or are you just posting such comments to cause trouble and dissent? rgt stands for rons golden troll....a persistent multiname lulu fanatic, who many believe is still up to his tricks.
Richard. Getting a bit hot under the collar ? ?? The problem I see is that the team also missed the oportunity to abort the stop even after Lewis had entered the pit lane. There must have been at least 5-6 seconds for them to wave through before he parked. It's Good to Talk.

F1 » Hamilton stays fastest before rain stops play

Richard. Come on. Surely your not implying all Lewis Hamilton fans think and feels that way.??. It's Good to Talk.
