F1 » FOM extends pit lane clampdown

Richard. Totally agree. Reporters in or at back of garage and where there is room, behind pitwall fences. I prefer to see the full overhead pit camera shots. So a overhead camera fitted to all pit boxes, and used, is a must. It also surprises me how often you see adjacent pit crews having to hold air lines back out of the way. I know there are busy times when more than one pit crew is out, but when their not servicing a vehicle or preparing to, they should also be out of harms way. You would think they could manage this equipment better. It's Good To Talk.

F1 » Pirelli insists: No conflict with teams

Taz Pcxmax is right. Here we have a team that have been quick all season in qualifying, not so on race day, however they have a car that is evolving fast. No one can truly account for any gains that were made during the Pirelli Tyre Test. However that is now history, reprimands and penalties served. After the Young Drivers Test maybe all the teams will be a little more understanding in actual gains. The tyre testing at this programmed event is the only part that the current drivers are allowed to participate in, apparently, lets see if the teams attempt to manipulate this. It's Good To Talk.

F1 » ‘Confident’ Brawn gave green light for test

Richard. I think a ban on FP1 would be quite substantial handicap. To demote them to the back of the grid every race would only negate their competition. The rest of the season would surely then be solely devoted to developments for next year car. So therefore an enforced sacrifice this year would increase their advantage for next year. I agree about the registration of users, I even had a post edited yesterday and not deleted. Mind you I only used another word for rear end. It's Good To Talk.

F1 » ‘Confident’ Brawn gave green light for test

Richard. Could brain wash the Merecedes pilots. 107ss2009. The obvious solution is to abandon changes to this years tyres. Change the specification of next years tyres. Last issue is components tested and development gains on the car which may have been gained. If proven there is some, which is to be proven, then this issue had to be addressed. A simple solution/sanction would be to remove Mercedes from FP1 for the remainder of the season.
