F1 » Mercedes ‘gutted to let Hamilton down again’

LoveF1: I hear you, OnTheOtherHand. Of course, he is entitled to a bit of emotion like anybody else. On the other hand, he didn''t have to do the head hang thing for as long as he did. It's as if he was looking for the sympathy, rather than letting it come from the fans naturally and endearing himself more to them that way. It's like he forgets he is human before being an F1 driver. I guess what I'm saying is that in the grand scheme of things, I would probably have taken off my helmet, smiled and waved at the marshals and fans and done one of those gestures showing my relief at not becoming toast in an F1 car fire. Maybe I'm being harsh, but to me it seemed as if he was more concerned about the race pole than the relief of getting out of a burning car. Any burning car. But that's just me. He did seem a bit more upbeat at the Sky F1 interview later....
I guess there are many ways of dealing with situations, each to his/her own. What ever happened to the On-

F1 » Mercedes ‘gutted to let Hamilton down again’

LoveF1 I am with you on the "Conspiracy Theory" angle. If there is any truth in it, it will leak out one day. "Poor Me". I think this guy is entitled to have a bit of emotion. Second race weekend with failures in qualifying. Still, he was pretty upbeat in the interviews considering. Nico seemed less bothered on the surface, not finishing that race still left him in an advantageous position. He may of gone to his trailer and trashed it for all we know. I would rather see the real person. If that is Nico's true self, respect to him. And Georgie, he may be a True F1 Fan, he just needs to show it. He is as bad as the "Fans Boys" he refers to. I think you have him as a fan now yourself. It's Good to Talk.

F1 » Hamilton: Usual rules didn’t apply

The whole event was mismanaged. If it was likely that Nico could win or better his position from where he was, then it was also likely that Lewis could do the same if the team switched them to the same strategy. Pit Lewis (leader at the time), then pit Nico next lap. If Nico was that fast at that point he could have attempted an under cut ( or the team could have given Lewis a longer pit stop..............). History for me. Let them race. It's Good to Talk.

F1 » F1 fans back Hamilton over team orders

Nick101: Lewis Hamilton's decision to ignore Mercedes' team orders in the Hungarian Grand Prix has been backed by fans in a poll That's because this site is full of delusional Hamilton fangirls!
1 OH 1. Not totally full of Lewis Hamilton fans. This site a a full range of supporters, including you, and what makes you assume that only Lewis's fans voted. Maybe it was a feeling across the F1 fan based that voted. Anyway, why so negative about a driver, love him or hate him, who brings more to the party than he takes away. Obviously I am referring to the entertainment, in what ever form F1 fans wish to accept or take view of it. It's Good to Talk.

F1 » Hamilton recovers to win after Rosberg error

dazza0501: Don't lie mercedes! They weren't racing! rosberg had to let him by! Convenient outbraking move!
So I guess the first time Nico run off at the chicane it was a practice ???? It's Good to Talk.
Come on! They put out message to wait till end of race and hamilton hammers his tyres and catches him extremely quickly! Nico was just cruising! A deal was done!
If that is what Mercedes did, and I doubt, well done, excellent execution. It's Good to Talk.

F1 » VIDEO: Lewis Hamilton previews Italian GP

Taipan: Paddy, IF Lulu loses this championship it's the final absolute proof that he is not an A list driver. Getting well beaten by Rosberg (even though Merc obviously favour Lulu) who lets be honest has never been in anyone's top 5 or 6 drivers, he's even struggling to beat Dan despite having one of the most dominant cars of the last 25 years. Lulu might be one of the most famous current drivers but he's nowhere near being one of the best. Hey Taipan. All these drivers are "A" list, or else they would not be here, money or not. They are a very diverse bunch, all with differing mind and skill sets. I for one find the whole thing mighty entertaining. It's Good to Talk.
