BTCC » Plato weighing up 2015 BTCC options

I like the picture too........but she's actually thinking....... Plato.....he's the best driver in the series, sells the most tickets, has the most wins, the best sponsors & is pretty much a household name..... probably for a very good reason & BTCC would be a poorer place without him. BTW.... I'm not for or against any driver......Matt 'Neal' is as controversial as Plato & also likes a moan...., so they speak their minds, fine by me. What's the problem. Is everyone happy that the BMW's can guarantee first into the first corner every race......even from the 2nd row (or 3rd row in a couple of races!). I'm not bothered who wins races as long as the playing field is the moment it's not.

BTCC » Plato weighing up 2015 BTCC options

Surely a driver is an excellent driver........ or not ! You say ''he CAN be'' but the rest of your comment suggests that you actually think he is. Good that you mention Reid & Clelend as hard charging 'excellent' drivers too, as they too were both terrible outspoken moaners if things weren't going their both were guilty of many questionable moves on other drivers. In John Cleland's case though, if I remember, it was always Steve Soper's fault !!...........! It's the nature of racers & racing. Hamilton does it in F1, Mansell used to do it, Of the front runners I would say Turkington is prob the fairest driver (& Shedden is the biggest moaner).... but even Turkington this season has been penalised for's all part of the show. Plato makes the whole thing more interesting & exciting, if he moans & complains, so what ! it's what makes the top guys, believe me, they all do it, the guys further down the field too, but we don't get to h

WRC » 'Strongest performance of season' for Meeke

I agree totally, I too said Meeke would come good later in the season once he had events under his belt, it's all about confidence with him, he's a class act, super fast & only needed the opportunity in a WRC car. Watch him only improve from here on. Makes WRC so much more interesting with Kris in there & yes, Rally GB is a very possible win for Kris. Here's hoping Citroen confirm his seat for 2015 very soon. I do think they'll just keep the same drivers.

WRC » Meeke blames 'optimistic' pace-note for crash

Meeke again shows his impressive pace, but really frustrating that he didn't get the win as there won't be many events where we lose both of the top 2 WV's. He's looking like the best of the rest though, but needs a strong Rally Aus.& MUST FINISH..... hopefully on the podium. I'm pretty sure he'll be in the Citroen in 2015 (as long as he's finishes most of the remaining events..... & on or near the podium) My worry is that Citroen will pull out of WRC soon & concentrate on WTTC where they can dominate, as they're doing this boring & tedious as that 'racing' (read - procession) now is ! Kris will desperately want to stay at Citroen, to compete next year with a season's experience in that car. If no Citroen for Kris (or no Citroen!) I'm pretty sure Mikko will retire, so is the other Fiesta an option for Meeeke long term ?
