RR » TT 2013: Dunlop unstoppable with fourth victory of week

'Losing the front big style'. Michael is the man of the moment and no mistake, but if what he says is true (and I doubt it, as he's always talking this kind of stuff to grab a headline), he's headed for disaster on Friday. He showed great maturity in the f1, make no mistake, but he's in danger of getting carried away. I'm surprised that JMcG did what he did and how he did it last lap on Monday, but there's a danger of losing respect for the circuit, which is fatal.

RR » NW200: Race chiefs unite in call for key changes

The god squad still have alot to say regarding Sunday activities over here. There's no soccer on Sundays for example. For sure you could have a week of weather like that over here, but it was cruel how good the weather was on Friday and to no benefit. Fair play to those that travelled big distances and the privateer entrants especially. Fingers crossed of the TT, UGP and other road races of th season.

MotoGP » Marc VDS 'looking at MotoGP' for 2014

I'm perfectly happy to see Scott excel in the moto2 category. As mentioned above and everywhere ad nauseum, there are only four bikes in motogp that anyone will see on camera away from the grid. I'm sure Elias wishes he'd never bothered. Bradley will too. Moto2 is great, especially as the weight rule is in place to help Scott. He could be a multiple world champion at this level, realistically. Motogp? Nowhere. It sure as hell beats working for a living.

MotoGP » BBC made 'competitive bid' to try and keep MotoGP

I hardly think the sponsors of racing will notice this. We normally have to look up what product they are selling or already know that it's not a product available in the uk. I'm going to reserve judgement until I see how bt deliver this. But to reiterate, motorcycle racing is a minority sport that needs the different classes available from one provider/subscription. People have shown that they will pay for Eurosport, but 2 subscriptions is unacceptable. Lets be honest, if there's one class of racing that people won't pay for, it's the MotoGP. Hopefully we get a British Moto2 champion this year, which could be the best hope BT have of getting alot of folk here on board for 2014.

MotoGP » Ezpeleta: BBC to BT like 500cc to MotoGP

I feel for people who watch Eurosport and will now be further out of pocket. But last time I looked, Eurosport wasn't for free. I've taken a (fairly insignificant) stand against Sky some time ago and went with BT Vision, so I'll see how this pans out. It almost certainly couldn't be worse than the bbc presentation team. If it works out, I'll be happy to see Superbikes join in. We do need a one-stop-shop for motorbike racing , as it's a niche market.

MotoGP » BT MotoGP deal to be announced on Thursday?

There were howls of protest when Motogp moved from Eurosport to bbc. Do we seem to have a culture of moaners here? Bbc have done motogp no favours. Sponsors? The factory Yamaha team is unsponsored and I'm not sure how we can reflect on repsols money input over here. So where will the class notice the difference if its not shown live for free? Anyone who pays the license fee must look at the big picture. I'm glad they're not paying Dorna for the privilege. Motogp will end up in its own backside, and that'll be nothing to do with the BBC or tv rights. Just because it's a mismanaged product. Let it rot, see if I care!
