BSB » Wilson fourth on Gearlink Kawasaki BSB bow

Ben is just magic to watch. he makes the bike wriggle and squirm as if he were on a 70's superbike. His bike looked like it was trying to swap ends as he crossed the line for his fourth. I feel that he deserved a BSS title along the way, but I think it would be a bridge too far for a BSB title. Still a great racer, and you get the impression that a podium would mean more to him (and Gearlink) that to most other people.

RR » Dunlop targets 130mph Supersport lap at Isle of Man TT

Michael goes for the headline grabbing quotes, but the reason that many fans are frosty towards him is his lack of respect for the course. He's had a good run at it in his career so far, but we all know that the TT course deserves to be feared. People like Hutchinson, Ansty and Lougher would never come out with this sort of thing. They've seen fellow competitors and friends who have paid with their lives. Michael's father and Uncle have been killed at this game, so how come he still shoots his mouth off at any opportunity? He's a low class bloke.

MotoGP » ‘The lap time difference was 0.3 second’

Could've been the last lap, bringing the rider into the pits. Or maybe Matt Roberts was riding it. Or me, for that matter. Maybe he meant 'It was 0.3 slower than we expected' - whatever it was they expected. The truth is, we'll never know the lap time difference between factory, satellite and these 'production' bikes until a specific experiment is done. I'd be surprised, shocked even, if a satellite bike was within 0.3 of the full-fat factory, never mind the production racer. Honda's design brief was - Slower than a satellite Honda, quicker than a satellite Ducati. Some race bike that! I think I'd be asking Honda for my money back on the basis of mis-information.

BSB » Hopkins impresses on competitive return in Spain

I'm not knocking JH, but the guy is a great national level racer, but no longer world championship contender. I respect the rocky road that he has traversed and look forward to seeing him at the sharp end of BSB, but if I had a rider to choose for WSB or MotoGP, I wouldn't be looking in his direction. He's had lots of opportunities, and for one reason or another it's never worked out. He's a great addition to BSB, no doubt.
