MotoGP » Valencia marks end of MotoGP on British Eurosport

The combination of boring premier class races along with Parrish, Cox, Asi and Roberts means that I will not miss BBC MotoGP one jot. Of the fairly few overtakes at the front this year, Cocks and Parrish have missed half of them! Remarkable incompetence and just plain dreadful to listen to. A boring bunch the lot of them. The minor classes are good to watch, even without the 'premium' commentary teams. Maybe that the way to go. We need people whose ego isn't in the way. BT'll probably bring in Toseland, who could talk a leg to sleep. The likes of Jake Humphries, who did a great job in F1 of presenting professionally and clearly, without constant cliche, would be a good front man, and he's already at BT.

MotoGP » Aprilia announces full MotoGP comeback in 2016

When the change from two strokes was first announced, we were promised a wild spectacle of technically optimistic machinery. Look where we are.... The Cube is the only bike that stands out in my mind. A complete monster, wicked and feared. If not MotoGP (the insomnia end-all), it'd be fantastic to have a class that would produce the v-8s, cubes etc. that were mooted.

BSB » Stuart Higgs (BSB Race Director) - Q&A

I know I'm in the minority, but I like the showdown. Stuart explains well how it's about making a bigger and more achievable target for more teams in the paddock. I understand the objections, but it also makes the series distinctive. A good article with some searching and pressing questions, not just blowing smoke up someone's ass. It's a great series and seems to strike a good balance between professionalism and being close knit.

MotoGP » Rossi salvages sixth after costly excursion

The comments about the Rolling Stones and Rossi have value. I don't doubt that he is the big draw. I've mentioned the merchandise. But what is that doing for MotoGP today? Nothing. I can't believe that the people who are turning up to see him are feeling anything but short changed. There'd be more value in him running on a CRT, as his teammate wouldn't be handing his ass to him week-in, week-out. I've been watching MotoGP for a couple of decades, and Rossi has been a (if not the) stand-out rider in that time. But we didn't see Schwantz and Doohan doing a greatest-hits-tour run around. If MotoGP is still trading on Rossi memories, then it is definitely up the creek.
