RR » NW200: Showpiece Superbike race cancelled

It's absolutely sickening for fans, year on year. The crash was a dealt with correctly and thankfully everyone will get home eventually. But the organisational questions remain unanswered, despite the prescence of the bloody obvious: - why does the clerk have to clear EVERYTHING? A structure like the IoM might be a better fit. Delegation and organisation are important! - tyre warmers & lackeys etc on the grid. No! - Interviews before and between races - No! - Podium after the races is immaterial, as the riders don't want to celebrate before another race. So what value has it? - All bikes coming to the grid through a narrow tunnel - time to rethink that one. - Too many bikes in some races. Three waves? I attended kells road races a few years back, and due to cancellation of th eprevious days even (a fatality), they ran 13 races in one day! The NW200 will lose the goodwill of people who care about it, and when the flash harrys leave, the event will disappear.

WSBK » Sykes wants bike that lets him challenge at race end

Tom really lost the respect of so many last year, as is evident from comments on here. he's probably the most unpopular rider in the paddock right now, which is some turnaround compared with the well wishers when he won in 2013. half (or more) of his 'problems' are in his head - he's been put firmly in the shade by his team mate. It's his turn to be 'wing-man' for the team, something which he didn't appreciate when Baz did so much for him last year (yes he took him out once, but check how many times Baz finished ahead of Sylvan over the course of the season). Silly boy. Now take your medicine!
