F1 » Hamilton: You rely on the team...

The closer the racing the more people will buy tickets etc. As is evident in other big-money sports, the outcome isn't necessarily dependent on the skill of the players but on the ingenuity and (lack of) integrity of those who run the event and who win/lose as a result of the competition. Just something to think about for those naive enough to think sport is pure.

MotoGP » Moto3 Valencia - Race Results

Well, Jack***, I called you a punk on Twitter and you responded with "not sure but love the punk rep that Im getting of this guy " so it appears you really enjoy being the bad guy on track even if the very tactics you use to win are the cause of your loss. I don't think I've ever seen such an immature display of poor sportsmanship as I saw on the podium today. Congratulations, you're the sore loser champion of 2014.

F1 » Raikkonen: ‘Is it safe ever?’

Oh for goodness sake yourself! I don't read your ubiquitous posts because you bore me to tears. Drivers look ahead. They see a green flag 100 meters down the road and they assume there is no more problem. The green flag was very high in the air and the equipment was at ground level. Flying a green flag right on top of an accident site is quite absurd.

F1 » Raikkonen: ‘Is it safe ever?’

If it weren't so tragic it would be humorous the way all the usual suspects are defending the actions of the officials. I don't think the conditions were worse than we've seen at other races - that isn't the issue. The fact that a crane is maneuvering in a runoff area where a car has just spun is ridiculous. If the cranes activity is deemed safe (according to officials) then logic implies that there is no need for barriers at all because nothing will ever happen there. (Or maybe they relied on the lightning strikes twice theory). It's obvious from the photos that Jules car slid underneath some portion of that crane. The whole top of the car/engine is sheared off. He's very lucky he wasn't decapitated. This was an accident that absolutely should not have happened.

MotoGP » Marquez explains Misano mistake

I'm happy to see Vale take this win in his home race where he is so dearly loved. A pleasure to watch a Master still enjoying his craft. But reading the comments it's obvious that some of you have waited a long long time for Marc to make the inevitable mistake that would bring him down so you can gloat over his failure. Enjoy the moment because like a beach ball held under water he will explode back to dominance and soon leave you with nowhere to spew your venom. How shallow some of you are.
