MotoGP » Rossi: We were always fighting some problem

From the RealDave Even the haters expect VR to win and anything less is apparently proof of failure.......you people know he's the best but simply refuse to admit it and you have done such a wonderful job of backing yourselves into a corner over the past 5 years. Gota roll with it now, don't ya! How has Rossi lack of performance for the last 5 years got to do with this year? Thats the things, each season is a new beginning. People only stated thyat Rossi should retire solely to put the wind up all the Fanboys who think he is the only rider on the grid and no-one else counts. I'm a Honda fan, MM is great and I want him to win as I want Honda to win If Rossi was on a Honda (again) I would want him to win but he isnt so I dont want him to win, doesnt mean he is better or worst than any other So wheres the corner you speak of?

MotoGP » Would Rossi have won without Marquez mistake?

I believe MM would have won as he is of that mindset. To do what he did was outstanding and it wasnt a simple 10th into turn 1 it was a full work your ass off to get to the front. His times were OK as he knew there was no point in pushing beyond what he had too. Rossi likes to be cocky that's his style He is now starting the mind games with MM so he can win the WC The question is will MM allow Rossi to win that WC or does MM want to be the first Spanish ride to win 3 in a row

MotoGP » Casey Stoner to make motorcycle racing comeback

Grendlehop: Jimmy1 March 27, 2015 11:52 AM "No one rode bike like Stoner, not even Marquez. MotoGP is so dull without him. Now Marquez' closest rival is old Rossi who couldn't make any remarkable result on bike on which Stoner was WINNING. Go figure." Marc is riding BETTER than Casey, even on a bad day. Casey had to have any number of factors lined up to win. One being a transition year bike. Another being a more developed 800cc Repsol . We all know the RC wasn't too great for the first few seasons of 800cc. Also, Vale's Duc and Casey's Duc were entirely different machines. Plus, Casey was used to dealing with its deficits. Don't forget Casey's steady decline in achievement over his tenure. Vale got the result of Casey's lack of development skills. "old Rossi". Lol
You for real! My god of all the dribble I read on this site your post rockets to number one, you have always hated Stoner but man go see a doctor and get some pills as you have completel

MotoGP » Casey Stoner to make motorcycle racing comeback

shakennstirred:
Painless: Same old same old. Here are the stats from 2006 to 2011. You cannot compare prior to 2006 because they weren't racing each other. In 2006 Stoner was riding a satellite blow-bag.I know that there will be no response because there never is. Oh wait I know, Rossi has won 9 titles and he beat Stoner once at Laguna Seca. There I saved you the typing. Starts: Stoner 100 Rossi 101 Podiums: Stoner 59 Rossi 58 Wins Stoner 33 Rossi 26 Win Rate Stoner 33% Rossi 26% Poles: Stoner 34 Rossi 19
the 2 years with ducati messed that up or it would have looked so different
Really, you want to discard the Ducati years as Rossi was a dud on the bike, using your logic then maybe we could remove all wins by other riders so you can cream your jeans for new Rossi wins and you wonder why so many people laugh at you lol

MotoGP » Casey Stoner to make motorcycle racing comeback

Number76: @kneedragon It's only because Stoner acted like such a putz after the race that he caught so much flak. And uh, Marquez did the exact move in the exact spot to Rossi. So yeah, it has been done to a rider who has many fans. It is just that the rider didn't get all pissy about it. How many American fans of Nicky Hayden have to hear about him getting "lucky" in 2006 to win his championship? Don't hear Nick moaning day and night about no respect. Didn't hear Nick moaning about his crappy clutch all year. Did see Nick get taken out by an idiot move in Estoril by Pedrosa. US fans wanted DP's tiny little head on a toothpick. Nicky played it cool afterwards, put his head down and got the job done. Won his championship. Those same US lynch mob fans I heard in person cheer emphatically for Pedrosa when he put on a clinic at Indy years later. Fans forgive those who deserve it. They chastise those who don't.

MotoGP » Rossi: New Ducati ‘fast’, tyre rule ‘unfair’

From Codger (love your work) Media Hack......Vale, do you think the extra soft that the open teams use is unfair ? Rossi........In my opinion Ducatis this year are competitive and don't need it. It gives them an unfair advantage in Qually, which gives them a start in the early laps of the race. Crash.net Punters......Rossi is moaning, and forgets his advantages over the years. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck and swims like a duck, its a duck - Rossi is a duck lol The difference is that any 'advantage' that Rossi had he earned. PMSL The open class have done the opposite. Really, that sounds a bit arrogant Nobody's fault, except maybe the daft rule makers. Rossi ensures the rules always work for him, think back to his move to M1 and who all of a sudden had the worst luck of any rider in the history of motogp Stay safe and keep the faith

MotoGP » Rossi ‘thinking’ tenth world title

LMAO , Rossi said the same stuff when he went to Ducati and we all know how that turned out. It was 2009 when he won his last WC and since 2010 he has never been a true contender, last season he had a win in as much as two out of form racers who I don't believe will be so easy this year. Sometimes he talks like an old punch drunk champion which is sad But hey, the YPB fan club will believe anything

MotoGP » Rossi ‘thinking’ tenth world title

Codger, not harsh but factual, as they say, one swallow does not make a summer He had luck last year, never had any runaway races just luck, don't get it wrong he was one of the greats, he is the George Forman of the racing world, been many better before and will be after, that goes for everyone But hey, if it makes you and the YPF wet, then all good for you but fact is Rossi and the team say this every year for the past 1/2 a decade since he won either multiple races in one season or a WC
