MotoGP » MotoGP gets physical with 1000cc

Yeah obviously time is an issue at race weekends.... but I suppose the point he he always does significantly less laps than most others. And didn't complete full distance run in testing whereas his competition did. So maybe I should rephrase and say I will be interested to see if he starts doing longer runs in practice sessions.

MotoGP » Lorenzo defeats Hondas in Qatar MotoGP opener

@Catch Up, No not stiring today. Not intentionally anyway. I started off with some reasonable posts but managed to get drawn into the crash.net merry-go-round. I think it is fair to make some critisisms as long as they are constructive, the trouble is any critisism is met with a rediculous backlash.... The over-riding feeling about the race was that I was happy no one person ran away with it and it looks like we could be in for a good season. I really don't care who wins the championship as long as it's a good competition.

MotoGP » Lorenzo defeats Hondas in Qatar MotoGP opener

Well how about this.... these 3 riders are clearly the cream of the crop. Lets hope they will all be closely matched all season and give us some good racing to cheer at. I'm not a huge supporter of any of them but I do respect them all for various reasons. They all have their strengths and weaknesses and with the new engines and tyres this seasons could through a few unexpected results at us.

MotoGP » Elated Crutchlow 'could have been closer' to podium

There is a fine line between arrogance and self-confidence. One is often mistaken for the other, especially in sports people. It also depends on your perspective, if you are a fan of that person or not. Personally I don't think he is arrogant, I think he has self-confidence and self-belief. It is impossible to compete at this level without that. In all his statements to the press he always talks about the team being good, the support etc, he also said before the race he wouldn't be fighting for the podium as the others are too fast. those aren't the words of an arrogant person.

MotoGP » Arm-pump caused Stoner slump

No I don't think he would walk out.... legally/contractually that would be a problem too.... But to hear him talk so negatively... I mean you need a good bike to get results but you need to have a positive attitude too... and in that article it sounds like he's given up, resigned to the fact he cant compete on his bike. There are no major updates coming for some time and he's obviously not happy with Ducati Corse. Bad situation all round. It will be very hard to watch if he spends the whole season circulating at the wrong end of the top 10.
