F1 » Stewart: Hamilton can be champion

He will find himself at the front end of the pack in many races if Merc develop the car all year round, and may even win a race or two (Monaco would be my pick), but the title is improbable. I feel they left something in the Malaysian race with disrupted qualifying and the fueling issue, so this car as it is may yet improve for China and I think Rosberg has a very good chance of repeating his feats last year, but he might have to outqualify Lewis first.

F1 » Hamilton: Plenty of work still to do

@ f1fan What I'm saying is exactly what I wrote, and that it is a bit disingenuous of the naysayers to start sticking the knife into Lewis already based on assumptions and lap times done in different conditions and on different fuel loads. What they seem to forget is that it is still a Mercedes Rosberg was driving, the same car Hamilton will have for the season. Now if it is capable of getting into the 1:19s, well, I guess we will know come May and the Spanish GP!

Oh, you naysayers. Rosberg was on a 1 lap flyer, so it stands to reason that he would go faster than Hamilton who was on a 5 lap run. To explain it to you it means Hamilton was fuelled heavier so would naturally circulate slower. To add to that Hamilton did his run in the morning on a green track after all the rain, whereas Rosberd had a nicely rubbered in track from all the running from Yesterday! Capisch????

F1 » Hamilton stays silent on future

@bob your naivety is entertaining but highly revealing. Hamilton ain't going nowhere. You actually believed what Eddie Jordan and his wig said about a move for Hamilton? Read subsequent articles on the matter on the BBC website and see how they have been furiously back-tracking ever since, although clumsily. The move was supposed to be IMMINENT. Tell me, how long is that? As for Button, even you know that he is slower than Hamilton who definitely does not give a toss about Dr Understeer. Heck, he is not even in the top 10 on the current grid. Hamilton will still be there at MacLaren next year going for a 3rd title while Button is "happy to be driving for a team like MacLaren!
