F1 » Button aiming to bounce back after Canada

@Liam48 Calm down my dear fellow, no need to get tetchy. It's now obvious to me that your love for Button goes way beyond driver skill, because nobody could possibly harbor such blind devotion. The boy is slow, end of! I wouldn't know whether Hamilton cares or not about what other people think of him, but seemingly you do. If there is such a video of him saying so or an article please share otherwise stop spouting rubbish. All I know is if I had a doll as good as his and as fat a bank account I wouldn't care what @Liam48 thinks on some F1 forum.

@bob don't call me darling, I'm not like that matey. It however explains your blind following of Button, there are definitely other forces at work. As for your reference to Lewis's earrings, I would have thought that for someone who professes to be a F1 fan you would welcome diversity in the paddock. Are you saying you want them all to dress and behave in the same way? I for one welcomes the fact that there is someone on the grid nicknamed the ICEMAN!!

@Liam48 If you think Vettel spinning to lose a race is evidence of Jenson's drive being the greatest in F1 history then I may have to reconsider my earlier impression that you were a sensible person in F1 terms. As for my comments being stupid, if you are referring to car numbers that's neither here nor there, but that is exactly my point. Jenson thought it mattered while Lewis did not care. He wants it to be a fight against Lewis regardless of where they finish in the standings whilst Lewis is only concerned about the other teams.and winning the Championship. It tells you all you need to know about both men's ambitions does it not?

F1 » Whitmarsh tips Hamilton to stay

@Taipan How patronising you sound.Nobody made you the authority on all things F1.The only reason you have that small number of groupies hanging to your every word is because like you they want an outlet for their obsession with Lewis. Proof is in your limited knowledge of F1 compared to the vast amount of trivia you know about Lewis. Even the most ardent fans of Lewis do not know as much about him as you do because they are not interested in anything other than his racing.

@richard Finishing ahead of your team-mate does not mean anything for car number. Look at Schumacher, he finished behind Roseberg but he got the number 7 on his car. It's all power politics within. Button certainly thought it would give him a psychological victory and show everyone that he was the number 1. And no, I don't have it in for him - it's just annoying how he got corky after finishing second last year, like that means anything!

@NKT You are right about Button's luck. I don't know why people can not accept that one driver can get that much luck. Look at his car advantage for his Championship year. It certainly was not because he was the best driver on the grid. Far from it. And then look at what people are saying is his greatest win, the conditions and the safety cars. He also crashed and went into the pits for new tyres which meant after the safety car he was on much better tyres than anybody else. All luck.
