MotoGP » Stoner starts Sepang MotoGP test

Casey is where he wants to be - remembered, revered, respected and missed. But only because he is away from racing. If he goes back to racing the same cannot be said, because of the nature of motogp itself - a popularity contest where money is generated for the fan favourites and the personality that you are to the media. Who the hell wants to watch riders go lap after lap leading at the front? Fast riders who disappear into the distance kill the series. If he wants to be in he has to be the bad guy in the drama (because the good guys roles are already taken). Sad but true.

MotoGP » Honda, Yamaha discuss Ducati advantages

Quote: Podium-less in 2013, Ducati did take three rostrums this year. However only a third place by Andrea Dovizioso at Austin was in the dry. And while the softer rear tyre clearly helped in qualifying, it often proved a disadvantage in the race, when Honda and Yamaha riders had exclusive use of the harder compounds. This is the biggest farce of the tyre rule. Dont tell me the experts who came up with the rule do not know u cant win a race on qualifying tyres?
