MOTOGP » Lorenzo: Stoner most talented I have seen

Does it really matter? The GOAT is totally subjective, certainly you can quote statistics to back up a riders record and say they prove who is the GOAT, but there will always be people who disagree with stats, and in my opinion rightly so. Looking at other motor sport, statistically Michael Schumacher has to be the greatest F1 driver of all time, but was he really better than Ayrton Senna or for those who are a bit older, Jim Clarke or Moss or Fangio? the comment in the thread title is JL's opinion, doesn't mean VR or DP would necessarily agree, again it's subjective. For me the GOAT and purely because it was watching him race that really got me interested in bikes and racing and because I saw him race several times is the King, Kenny Roberts, BUT that is MY opinion and I don't expect anybody else to necessarily agree.

MOTOGP » 'Fairytale' final home win for Casey Stoner

CS rode a fantastic race, was untouchable the entire week end as his rivals readily admitted. How anybody (reference LCT above) can say otherwise defies logic. The grid will be a far poorer place without him on it next year. You don't have to like him, you don't have to agree with anything he says just appreciate the way he can ride a motorcycle.

MOTOGP » Marc Marquez is 2012 Moto2 champion

Very fast and will in all probability do well next year, but doesn't seem to have a great deal of regard or respect for his fellow riders. Can't wait to see him try and pull a move like the one he did on Luthi at the beginning of the season on the likes of Rossi,Crutchlow, De Puniet or Jorge. The line between aggressive racing and dangerous riding is a fine one and he seems to tip over that line just a little too often.
