WRC » Solberg misses 'magic' in bid for glory

Henry Ford philosophy has been "Ford is 'good' car which most of the people can afford". That pretty much seems to reflect in WRCar development. Ford has long history in all kind of races, especially Rally, but they focus on selling cars instead of actually invest bucket loads of cash to make a "winner" car as the French do.

WRC » Loeb: Will I be back next year? Maybe...

I don't blame him, not at all. Despite I'm not his fan, I pretty much respect him for what he did, he is the best ever, there is no doubt. I don't believe he want and will change the car just for fans amusement, he is already with one leg in retirement, if Citroen go, he will go too even now it looks he is more motivated than ever, that is not the case, he is true champion and if he looses it, he will not compete anymore. There is nothing so much he could want to achieve in Rallying.

WRC » Hirvonen: I have no excuses

Team orders, so you think Hirvonen is better than Loeb - LOL. Team orders apply if both drivers are way in front and no one is threatening their positions. This wasn't the case in Finland, Latvalla was only 20 seconds behind and if Citroens were relaxed, he might get there pretty quickly - 3-4 stages. Anyway previous Rallies there were team orders, but I don't think Hirvonen would won there (except probably Argentina).

WRC » Loeb secures third Finland victory

Yeah, Citroen appears faster than the Ford. Latvalla tried to beat them first half of the season, but failed almost always (no luck). Now there was no point for him and Solberg to push hard when it's almost over, they seemed to hope Citroen drivers to make some mistakes which didn't happen. Perfect job for Loeb (and Hirvonen).
