F1 » Kaltenborn confident in Sauber pairing

It's funny that too many moves can make you look like you might be out of the picture because you don't form any relationships (Hulk) while staying with the same team makes you look like you have no better options and that you'll also be out of the picture soon (di Resta). At the moment I think if you are in a mid-pack team then doing as Hulkenberg has is probably about right because none of these teams seem to really value their drivers the way that the top teams seem to.

F1 » Gutierrez to remain with Sauber

I think signing guys like Gutierrez, Chilton, et al lowers the standards in the sport when you consider that drivers like di Resta have no ride and have, in the past, been booted out because of these 'pay' drivers. But I suppose I'm being too harsh. It's not as though F1 is supposed to be the pinnacle of four wheel motorsport...

F1 » Dennis: Never say never to Alonso return

@Spice I think it was more that Ron et al promised Alonso one thing but ended up giving him another entirely. No.1 driver status isn't just at title, it's a genuine preference in the team. I think after Hamilton's split with McLaren they have to be thinking to themselves that they messed up with Alonso. Had they given him the preference he was promised then they possibly could have won more world championships than the one that Hamilton did.
