MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: 'It will be a strange weekend'

And Stoner lovers don't forget that Stoner in 2010 finished 4th with Ducati and next year he won the championship with Honda. In 2010 Rossi, facing an injury, finished 3rd with Yamaha and next year 7th with Ducati. You can't say Stoner is better than Rossi because he won the championship with both Ducati and Honda. Just look at Stoner's victories with Ducati: 2007...10, 2008...6, 2009...4(but faced an illness that year), 2010...3. I agree that Stoner is very talented and very fast but not as GREAT as Rossi, someone with 9 world championship titles.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: 'Hard to concentrate' for poor positions

@sham on you Stoner in 2010 finished 4th. Rossi in 2010 finished 3rd and with some races off due to his injury. How can you blame Rossi and his performance in 2011 for his results? You have to understand that riders have different riding styles and not all different bikes can fit all riders. If you cannot understand this then don't comment. I will emphasize again that instead of Ducati not fitting Rossi, it is a completely different bike than it was back in 2007 and 2008. It is obvious it is not that competitive anymore. Stoner's results prove it as well.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: 'Hard to concentrate' for poor positions

@ sham on u Of course he is human. He competes between humans. And every human makes mistakes. Yet, this doesn't mean he is not the best recent motogp rider. He proved that from his championships and no one can doubt that. The only mistake he did was to stay in ducati for 2012 and he will probably make another one if he continues for 2013. Ducati is Ducati and as seen whatever the engineers do they will never suit that particular bike for Vale. Do you think if he goes back to yamaha he will continue finishing at such places? If not, then it is not his fault of the position he is now. Besides, do you believe if this year Jorje was in ducati he would be 1st? I don't think so. The same goes for Stoner as he finished 4th in the 2009 and 2010 with ducati and suddenly won the championship in 2011 with honda

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: 'Hard to concentrate' for poor positions

Rossi just said from his early moments with ducati: That bike is unrideable and a lot different from the hondas and yamahas he rode in the past. Why should then Rossi change his riding style to fit the bike? It is the bikes that should fit the riders' riding styles and not the opposite. JUST LOOK AT THE FACTS. How can a 7 times motogp world champion not be able to win even at once in two years time? Don't forget that in 2010 even after his injury was able to win and get on the podium with a broken leg, but with an M1.
