MotoGP » Kevin Schwantz: Suzuki should race now!

I will say this I respect every racer that got on a GP bike and raced including Schwantz but guys he was gifted a WC when Rainey crashed if I remember right it took him the rest of the season to make up the points thats how far rainey was in front and if I remember right he walked out on his team the following year, yes I repect him as a rider but he was never in Raineys class as a matter of fact I would put him a few rungs below Rainey, its only my opinion but I would say he was average at best, but I will say this he has done a great job in getting GP racing to Texas so credit to him for that.

@Schwantz34 You said you dont quite go back to Sheen well I think you have seen the best era of racing ever I have followed it for 52 yrs and in my opinion we will never see another Hailwood, what made him so good he could ride anything it didn't matter what it was and although he might not win he would be right there if anybody made a mistake. But the era of Rainy,Spencer,Roberts,Gardner,Doohan etc that was the golden era of GP racing I doubt if we will ever see one like that again. @PorkPie I have said it on here many times although I am not fan I think JLO is by far the best rider on the grid at the moment, and if he had equal machinery with any rider including MM he would win by a wide margin in my opinion I dont think I have ever seen a smoother rider. and on the Duc I would love to see it up there again but I think here was only one rider that had the riding style to win on it and he sadly retired and I was a huge fan of his but as they say thats how it goes.

MotoGP » PICS: Jorge Lorenzo’s jump start

I know its a dfferent sport but does anybody remember Usain Bolt I think it was in the world champs a few years ago when he jumped the start and was out it happens to the best its called a MISTAKE how many did he make before and after none that I can remember same with JLO its the first one I can remember to me it shows how keen he is to fight for the win but I have a bit of bad news for him I can't see the Yam beating the Honda at the moment even with a jump start.

MotoGP » Rossi: We destroyed the front tyre

@TalentFan Mate I usually agree with most of your posts and on the drag point I am not dis-agreeing with you but I think one point I will differ with you is that the most important thing is the set up as you know with drag racing getting the power to the ground is easy, applying it without spinning is the problem and even with all the electronics on the honda I would say the set up would have to be spot on which it looks to be By the way I have followed Drag racing for almost as long as GP and we have one of our big meetings here in Sydney in a couple of weeks The Nitro Champs and can't wait by the way can I ask you a personel question where do you come from?

MotoGP » 'I wasn't thinking' says 'distracted' Lorenzo

I am not a fan of JLO but I really admire him as a rider and I have said it on here many times give him equal machinery with any rider on the grid including MM and he would win by a fair margin, and as far as pressure goes this had nothing to do with pressure it was a mistake I have seen some of the greatest drivers/riders in history make the same mistake, the thing that nobody mentioned on here what about the ride from him I thought it was awsome after a pit ride through. I must say I am starting to lean a bit towards "TalentFan" about Honda what a machine it is if MM and Pedro stay upright for the season I can't see anybody get close to it I think it will be a parade for the rest of the season

@PorkPie Yea it was such a sad time here when Sheenie died I loved him doing the bikes because he knew what he was talking about,he did all the motor sport here in Aus I really miss him he had some great sayings. I hope Crash dont mind me going of topic here,I just follow the Union used to follow a bit of League but its too boring now,I record all the union from Europe the six nations, the Hinekine cup and the french top 14 its getting pretty good there now and I think you guys are starting to look good with the world cup coming up a bit like 2003 which I am still trying to forget lol. I would love to be there for it when it was in Aus it was brilliant so hope you have a great time when its on. Cheers
