MotoGP » 'Productive' MotoGP test for Stoner - no wild-cards

@Wylie I think you might be right about Baturst I must admit I am not a big fan of the V8s but Bathurst is different I have been there a couple of times and really enjoyed it,I also agree with you I think stoner is really enjoying himself, but as a GP fan it is a bit worrying when you see honda paying a bloke like stoner to do their test riding on next years bike and with MM having one years experience under his belt and having stoners crew chief and stoners data, next years calender could be a non event with honda first and daylight second, although I think JLO is the best rider on the grid at the moment I hope the gap in bike performance wont be too much for him to make up or it will be very boring.

MotoGP » Marquez: 'Reality' when Pedrosa, Lorenzo are fit

@True Fan I read your posts and agree with a lot of them but I disagree with a bit of your last post when you said "the competition is as good as its ever been" I have followed GP for 52 yrs and Hailwood was the greatest but the golden era of GP was when we had Rainey,Roberts,Spencer,Gardner,Doohn,Mamola etc I dont think we will ever see an era like that again.

MotoGP » Official: Cal Crutchlow to Ducati MotoGP team

@DrGp The only question I have is what other factory bike was available to win a title on? he is not going to win it on Duc and the only other ones is honda or Yam and they they are booked for at least 2 to 3 yrs so what does he do in the meantime?its pretty simple decision as far as I can see and with new and younger riders coming up from Moto2 his chances are even less that he will get a ride on the honda or yam,and I think Crutch worked all that out and decided take the money which in my idea he was right.

@therealDave Well well Ausrosies mouthpiece replys again for him ,you got it wrong again Dave 23 "wins" on Duc not 23 races and you got it wrong again on what stoner could have got he turned down 16 mil with honda the biggest contract by honda in motorsports but I suppose when you pay what you owe and dont try to dodge taxes you can do that,so Dave how many wins did your man get on the Duc again oh dont bother I already know the answer.

@Ausrossi They are not my figures it was on a show on tv a few weeks ago in Syd it was about all the celebs in Italy and the huge amounts of tax they owed and rossi was mentioned it said he owed 60 mil and at the end of 2011 he still owed 10 mil but maybe you know a bit more than the tv station. Glad to see you sorted out the conspiracy in theYam pit but you never said if it was geniune or not.but there is one figure that is not a conspiracy and I know it hurts all rossi fans,on the Duc stoner 23 wins rossi 0 yep that stress was pretty bad.

@Realist I think mate you are letting your emotions run away a bit,I think rossi and Burges knew they could never do what stoner done on the Duc,but seeing rossi owed 10 mil of a 60 mil tax debt getting a nice 30 mil contract would clear it he took the money, just like Crutch is doing with a factory contract he will be set up for life and if he gets a few podiums or a win thats cream on top,and as I said on here a hundred times if its rossi, stoner,JLO,Pedro.MM etc they are all there for one reason to make as much money as they can so as to retire and have a great life and do what they love doing while making it,just like you and me and everyone that works for a living quite simple really.

MotoGP » Cal Crutchlow's Ducati MotoGP deal done

@Jim Clausen You are spot on mate, anybody who has had dealings with the Germans (and I had plenty) will know, they will put everything into this project for a few years and if it is not a success I will be very surprised if they stay 3 yrs max.One thing the Germans do not do is pour money into something that is loosing thats why they have a very successful country.
