MotoGP » Lorenzo: Gloves come off in 'special occasion'

Congrats to MM on winning the title, but if anybody had any doubts as to why Yam picked JLO when they were given the "its him or me"choice and they said its him it was there for all to see at the weekend, there is not another rider on the grid even close to him if he was on equal machinery as the Honda guys this title would have been over ages ago and I am not a JLO fan,and am not having a go at MM he is a very good rider,I just hope next year the Yam gets a bit closer to the honda so we can see a bit of racing because although there is 4 bikes that can win the only 2 that has the ability to win on a regular basis is JLO and MM.the rest just make up the grid but I hope I am wrong but I doubt it.

MotoGP » Record lap keeps Marquez fastest in FP3

@Codger Mate I have followed GP for over 50 yrs and I know you have followed it a bit longer, but mate were you a Diplomat or somethng because I never know who you follow because one day you follow stoner the next you are against him the same with rossi as a matter of fact I think you are like that with every rider in GP but one thing I will say you give us a good laugh.

MotoGP » Rossi, Burgess discuss shock 2014 split

I am an Aussie like JB is so I will not bag him on here I will just say what finished JB was the same thing that finished rossi DUCATI when JB and rossi had the backing of 2 huge corporations like Honda and Yam where they could get whatever they wanted they were successful, but when they had to get results at a factory that was not as big it showed they were very average just like the the people with the Duc now, that bike destroyed the myth of the JB/ rossi team, remember they could fix it in 80 sec's,but in saying all that JB you gave great service to the sport I love and I hope you have a great life after GP so get back to Aus and enjoy a bit of fishing there is some good fishing places in SA and brilliant wine so enjoy a few glasses you earned it.

MotoGP » Casey Stoner tests 2013, 2014 Honda machinery

@Rooshooter Mate I read all the posts about 2007 and like you I always make the same point where was the other duc's,but further to that all the rossi fans say it was because the duc was faster in a straight line ,well guess what in 2011/12 it was still one of the fastest bikes in a straight line so why no wins in both years. By the way thats a clasy bike you are riding a Motto Guzzi I never rode one but they always impressed with them big pots sticking out each side very nice.

If people on here want to read about a family that done what stoners family did to live their dream then read this book, forget about him being a GP rider just to read what his family gave up is one of the most inspiring stories I have read it makes me very proud to be an Aussi but not very proud of the way he was treated as a young rider, but a I keep on saying the old tall poppy syndrome is alive and well here in Aus its a blight on our country very sad.

MotoGP » Lorenzo seals memorable triumph, keeps title race alive

@Laterrus I have a bit of info for you,do you remember a guy that rode and won a WC on a Ducati and when he did where were all the other Duc's? yep you got it NOWHERE, now with the Yam the guy that is winning where are all the other Yam's yep you got it again, ask yourself why is it so and simple answer TALENT,there is no other rider on the grid at the moment that has the talent that JLO has and I am not a fan of his,yes MM is a great talent but not in JLO's league yet.
