MOTOGP » Valentino Rossi: New engine 'not ready', ECU fall

@Jack Mordina Jack you said in your post you have followed GP since 1989 well I have followed since 1962 and I have never seen such advantages given to one rider like rossi had been given, but I dont blame rossi I would do the same if I got away with it,I blame the body that runs the show that allowed it to happen it was a disgrace and unfair to every other rider on the grid and they still have not learned look at their comment after France "we will ensure rossi gets a competitive bike for next year"so what about all the other guys busting their ba&&s on the grid do you think thats fair ?of course its not and that is one of the main problems with GP today the people running it have no idea what they are doing, dont blame the riders they are all trying their best.

@Slide Rules I know you have been following GP for a long time like I have,I have been reading some of the comments on here and I think some of the people on here dont understand what is involved in producing a bike or anything for that matter, when people on here say honda have a new bike in a few weeks they are right because honda already got the tooling, making the part is a pice of pi$$ the tooling is what takes the time and money where honda may have to do a few mods Duc have to design and make a new part thats huge in cost and time, and I think whats wrong is Duc are running out of money, and I am sure there are plenty of people on here that know what I mean, and I am sorry to tell the rossi fans I cannot see this problem fixed anytime soon certinly not this year.

MOTOGP » Valentino Rossi one-second from home podium

@jj Hope I did not start a Q&A between you and physics about Engineering in CF, my point is if a small bike manf.like Ducati can build a CF frame that gets poles, podiums and wins and would have got a lot more if they listened to stoner I think the big guys will be very interested.I go back to when I started flying if some one said to me that we would have a plane that carries 300 to 400 with composite wings and its lifted by 2 engines I would have laughed, but guess what its now the future for aircraft and I reckon it will be for bikes as well.

@physics As you have an intrest in Avation which I have spent half of my working life I was reading early this year a report on Boeings wing structure on the 787, disscussing the loading on the wings with some photos it was very interesting reading, the loading on the wing tips was increadable without destructing.I cant give you the link because I cant bloody remember it.
