MotoGP » Momentum with Marquez, ready for a battle

I hope Marquez does catch up, as it will add to the excitement of this already very entertaining season. We already have a fascinating 2-way scrap with Rossi and Lorenzo, so adding Marquez into the mix will only add to the drama :) As for the way it plays out. Both the Honda and Yamaha have tracks that favour them. They will all (MM VR JLo) be on the podium for the majority of the season, unless they have a DNF which will be great for 2 but bad for 1 of them! Pedrosa might get in on the action a few times and steal a win (Brno particularly) but this will hamper Marquez by taking away potential points for the #93. If Pedrosa can get away at the start and a clear 2 second or so lead he could easily win a few more, but he will finish mainly 4th for the rest of the season. He is bloody quick but doesn't have the ability to fight the other 3 (see Indy this weekend as an example). 1st - Lorenzo by 10 points approx. 2nd - Rossi 3rd - Marquez within 20 or Lorenzo. Whoever wins will de

F1 » Mercedes willing to supply Red Bull with engines

Why not call it Formula Mercedes One! Lets give all cars and teams Mercedes engines.......what a joke! Ditch all this stupid hybrid development and bring back proper engines. V8 or V10's. Sure, make them as clean as possible and enironmentally friendly but we also need the noise, competitiveness and atmostphere back. Open up in season testing too. Its always a bad idea to let teams develop a new power unit then freeze it when 1 team is compleely dominant. Be better to freeze it when all teams are at the same, or very similar level. Its supposed to be the top category of motorsport. Leave the hybrid developent to Formula-E which will get a raised profile from the publicity.

MotoGP » Rossi: All is open for tomorrow

This is possibly the best, most exciting and fun weekend of all the Moto GP races. Lets enjoy it people :) Im a huge VR46 fan, but I also acknowledge that JL99 is the man to beat. He is a machine! At this moment he is putting in lap times like 1:48.0, 1:48.0, 1:48.0, 1:48.0, 1:48.0! Thats pure race pace :) VR46 will raise his game on Sunday for sure. Ducati will get pole position on Saturday. I don't want to say this, but JL99 will probably win with VR46 and MM93 very close behind. Looking forward to Sunday :D

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi discharges himself from hospital

Great news, have a quick recovery for the next race in Motegi Oct 12th :) When I watched it happen live, I thought he was just laid on the floor thinking to himself 'mama meeeeaa why did I do that' but obviously it was more serious. Pedrosa seemed to brake really early and catch VR46 by suprise. Anyway no blame just a racing incident. If the track was 100% dry he might of been ok. Why and who chose astroturf as a border for this or any circuit? Seems like a stupid choice to me. Extra tarmac/asphalt or concrete is normal, or gravel as a speed trap but astroturf? what the hell????

F1 » Alonso can’t commit future to Ferrari

I think Alonso will stay at Ferrari for the rest of his contract. RB - I don't think he will go to Red Bull, they will keep their current driver line-up. McLaren - The Honda engine would be the chance to be in at the start of a new project, but I think Alonso is hungry for success and a 3rd title, not driving around mid-division helping with development. Williams - Probably don't have the finances to sign him, unless a major sponsor joined them and help bank roll it, like Santander. He will wait until the end of 2015, assess the progress of RB and the ability of their engines (not sure if they are keeping Renault power units). Way up if the Honda unit is working well for McLaren. Outside chance of Mercedes if their drivers fallout or one of them leaves. In which case Hamilton or Rosberg woulf replace him at Ferrari. Lets face it ALL teams will be chasing him when his contract is up, as I believe he is the best driver on the grid :)

MotoGP » Victorious Valentino Rossi 'at the best of my career'

It was a pleasure to witness this race :D I genuinely think Rossi would of beated Marc Marquez even if he had not fallen off, he just seemed to have a little bit extra. I remember when Rossi beat Stoner in their epic battle at Laguna Seca. Stoner was 1 second faster than everyone in all sessions and it was just a matter of not who will win, but how far Stoner would win by. Eurosport commentator Toby Moody simply said 'He is like Kylie (Minogue), Rossi has reinvented himself, where has he found the pace'. I think that sums him up nicely over his career. He has adapted his technique, and changed to suit the bikes, and compete with his rivals through allsorts of conditions. A true legend of the sport. Roll on the next round in Aragon, I can't wait :D
