MotoGP » Italian TV ambush Marquez at home

Its a publicity stunt and its worked. A satirical tv crew (doesn't matter what nation they are from) go and take the pi55 out of a public figure to get airtime, press coverage, column inches in papers and internet coverage........I guess it worked by the uproar on here! haha They are an independent tv crew, nothing to do with Rossi. They went to make a joke out of a situation, public figures, sportsman and women, politicians, musician, tv stars all have to deal with it at some point, and its sadly part and parcel of being famous. If they have assaulted anybody at all, then it is discusting! If they haven't and the Marquez family started throwing fists then they can't take a joke, or the pressures of public life.

MotoGP » Lorenzo denies title 'pact' with Marquez

Its ridiculious to suggest Marquez and Lorenzo have an 'agreement' in place. Marquez has a grudge against Rossi for Argentina etc. He, in my opinion, agree with me or not, held up Rossi to screw up his race. He succeded. Rossi wouldn't have caught Lorenzo because he was already gone. Best Rossi would have got was 3rd, but without the 3pts and back of the grid start. Lorenzo will win the title and make great claims about how he is the fastest, in the dry, in the rain, in qualifying, on the moon, on a skateboard, on roller blades whatever! If he had stayed quiet and said its between Marquez and Rossi, I would have respected and applauded him. He stuck his nose in and its shameful. Just like his thumbs down on the Speang podium. Tanited season now.

MotoGP » MotoGP Race Director explains Rossi punishment

Such a shame and bad end to a fantastic season so far. Marquez did make it difficult for Rossi and hung around him like a bad smell, overtaking Rossi hard but fair. But then slowing down and interupting Rossi's race. He might not have caught JLo or Pedrosa but he has denied Rossi a fair crack at a good result. Marquez should have won this race or been very close to Pedrosa at the leaset, but he hung back and pi55ed off Rossi. Bad little boy. Rossi should have kept his mouth shut in the press conferences. He tried to wind Marquez up and make him dissappear from the start and win the race by a mile, but it back fired badly. Sure, Rossi did appear to throw his knee at Marquez, but watch the replay and Marquez leans into Rossi and headbutts him first. They both need to grow up and act properly, thy are globlal sports stars, not little kids.........oh hang on one on them is!

MotoGP » Yamaha: Rossi 'incorrect' but penalty 'harsh'

Why do people keep saying it was a 'kick'? It was a flick of the knee, to get Marquez off his leg. Its physically impossible to use your knee to flick a '157kg RCV' plus Marquez at 65kg (not sure of his actual weight) to the floor. Absolute and utter garbage, Marquez was leaning on Rossi, just look at a slow motion replay and watch Marc's head hit Rossi's arm......its clear to see. I'm not happy at Rossi's comment in the press conference because it heated up, an already hot situation. I'm also not happy at all that Marquez has got involved and destroyed, what was looking like a fantastic grandstand finish in valencia.

MotoGP » Lorenzo calls Rossi's 'strategy' into question

I don't agree with Rossi's comments as it was a little rude to Marquez, but this is what he doe's when he needs too. Its classic gamesmanship. While the whole world, including Lorenzo and Marquez, are trying to work out what Rossi really means with his words. Rossi is in the garage working on race strategy, because being 'fastest' or getting pole position on a Saturday (or Friday at Assen) has NEVER got a race win and 25 pts. They go to the rider who crosses the line first on Sunday!

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: No mistakes

primal: Why do you people keep thinking there are only 2 riders on the grid and don't matter whatever the others do have no effect , rossi and lorenzo didn't finished first and second at Philip island and they there will be the same amount of riders, I don't care who win as long as I get to see some great close racing
Because Rossi and Lorenzo are the only 2 riders who can win the championship :) I think Marquez will still have something to say about who wins the remaining races. He has been inconsistant this year, but the last lap at Philip Island this last weekend shows he still has stunning speed! I want a No46 championship victory, but if No99 wins I will still applaude all the riders when they cross the fininsh line in Valencia. Thanks for a brilliant and exciting season to all riders, in all Moto GP, Moto 2 and Moto3. And we still have 2 races to go :D

MotoGP » Lorenzo: I'm the fastest, bad luck is costing me

Its no good being the fastest of all, over a few laps or in a certain weather condition. You need to play the long game. JLo is an amazing rider, there is no doubt about it, I watch in awe as he throws the M1 into corners and rides the wheels off it! But Its a classic quote of ALL motorsports......'to finish first, first you have to finish' If the World Championship was given out during QP2 JLo would be supreme! He is amazing during qualifying and a single hot lap. But 25 points are given out after a full race distance. Not qualifying. He cooked his tyres, just watch the full race to see. He was 3+ seconds infront of everyone, then a close up of his front tyre showed he had gone too hard, too soon. Rossi was more patient, but Dani Pedrosa played his cards better than anyone! A tactical race showed Rossi has better race craft than JLo. But Pedrosa won the race as he was superior :) Roll on Phillip Island :D

MotoGP » Rossi, Lorenzo ready for title showdown

I just feel really privileged to be seeing two absolutely world class (aliens) battling it out for the World Championship. Sure I prefer one rider but I also respect the other, it takes two to tango and they have provided me with many happy Sunday afternoon's infront of the TV. Infact all the riders have entertained me incredibly well this year :) Go Rossi for title No 10 but I will also clap for JLo if he bridges the gap and wins. The champion in Valencia will have deserved it :)
