MotoGP » Yamaha wants Rossi to ‘stay to end of career’

Rossi doesnt do it for the money, the salary means very little to him. Why? 1) He is already loaded (even after paying a huge tax bill in Italy) :) 2) He could ride around on a Vespa in Moto GP and still make buckets of cash from shirt, hat, flag, sales. 3) He probably earns more than his salary just from AGV sponsorship. Correct me if I'm wrong but he gets over 10 million euros per season.

MotoGP » Assen MotoGP - Full Qualifying Results

It was the same for all riders so I don't see how anyone can take it away from Alexis, he rode the best in the conditions of the track and got his reward. The softer tyre helped him but maybe not so much in the race if its dry. All the same he did the best in qualifying :) I hope it is a wet race tomorrow to add to the excitement, Repsol on the front row with both works Yamaha riders coming from the middle of the pack. Will be an exciting race for sure :) Well done Alexis, all the best in the race for all riders :)

MotoGP » Top five qualifying aim for 'satisfied' Rossi

@ Yearby23 - I can see what you mean but its not just about t-shirt sales. Who is the top Yamaha in the championship right now? Its Rossi on 117. How can you guys even question what Rossi is doing on the R1 this year! Yes last year was not ideal but form is temporary, class is permanent. Rossi has finished 2nd to Marc Marquez 4 times (IIRC) this year. That kid is unbelievable, a future god, a legend of the future and on a different level to ALL other riders on the grid. So Rossi is the best of the rest and carrying alot more years than the others. If it were not for the super ubber intergalactic alien talents of MM #93 Rossi would be top of the charts yet again! I'd like to see the rest of the riders be as competitive at his age when they get there. We are witnessing some golden years of racing peeps, watch it, love it, remember it :) I love Moto GP :D

MotoGP » Lorenzo lights up Mugello with Marquez battle

Im not a big fan of Jorge. I respect his talent but he annoys me with his childish antics when its not going his way. But today he was awesome! Taking the lead and doing what he does best, consistent lap after lap, after lap. Then when #93 went past I thought the race was over. But #99 dug deep and produced an amazing display to fight back. That was a proper race, with 2 proper legendary racers, thanks to both of you :) Looking forward to the next race already thumbs up :D

F1 » Hamilton: Rosberg and I friends again

I'm Sorry I've had enough. Tredding on egg-shells attitude is BS. In this modern era sponsors and the money dictate what the drivers can and can't say. (Bad in my opinion) Lets just have a free for all, let people say what they think, lets get some grudges fuelled and going! Real hatred and contempt for one and other. Its not going to hurt to have a grid where 4,5 or 6 drivers have openly expressed their dislike of a fellow racing driver. Come on guys, put your hand into your crotch and see if you have a pair of balls? F1 can learn a hell of a lot form the battles in Moto GP. Rossi v Stoner, Lorenzo v Pedrosa, Doohan v Gardner, Schwantz v Rainey etc etc they are like the old days of Mansell v Piquet, Senna v Prost. Come on grow a pair guys we will all benefit :)

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez could spend his career at Honda

Marc Marquez could stay at Honda all his racing life thats for sure. Why change? He is on the best bike with the best budget and best back-up. Only reason I can see him jumping ship is for a new and fresh motivation, or like in Rossi's case, he no longer feels valued. The kid is a freak, not an alien as suggested by Jezza and Toby on Eurosport / BT Sport, he is a super alien!! So quick, so intelligent and yet still so young. We are witnessing history people, so enjoy each race he is on :) On a side note: Comparison to Rossi. We can't say yet who is better until Marc has been in the sport for the same length of time. If 12-13 years from now (2026) Marquez is still in the premiere class fighting for podiums, then he can be held in the same regard as VR46. I can see Marc doing it, but Lorenzo won't nor will anyone else :)

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez could spend his career at Honda

Guna4699: @Jon464646 Not many riders get measured up against Rossi,, So Marc needs to pull up his socks and get ready... Jump ship and continue to dominate,, or don't care about being called a rider better than Rossi... Because Rossi has firmly set a bench mark... Surpass his important benchmarks and claim what is rightfully your's... If he retires as an Honda legend people will ask,, What if marc tried an inferior machine with little less budget and back up? "YES HE HAD THE POTENTIAL" "YES HE DID THAT" Both has different meaning...
I appreciate your comments as a fellow bike racing fan. But I dont think you understood what I typed. Rossi IS the benchmark, Marquez is the current top dog. Over his career Rossi has beaten many, and reinvented himself to be the No 1. Marc is the current top dog and rightfully so. He is awesome. Let time and history decide who is the greatest......... I don't really care, I have watched both riders and I have witnessed his

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Open class has too much advantage

Well qualifying is over now. Top 3 places filled with 1 factory and 2 satelite bikes. Im quite suprised given the pre-season tests and #41 performance in the practise sessions. Its a shame he binned it twice when it really mattered, he would of been right in the hunt for pole position :( This season has a feel of hare and tortoise. Open class is quick and fast, with soft tyres which may not last race distance. Factory / satelite are slightly slower, with less fuel and harder tyre options. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. May the best rider / bike win :)
