MotoGP » Big gains but Vinales yet to find limit

F0ul: The one thing I would bet on is that Vinales will be a MotoGP champion - His talent is head and shoulders above Marquez, and its only the time to learn the bike and the track that is going to prevent him winning at least one race this year!
You'll end up eating your shoe making statements like that. That's the same thing that has been said about Spies, Crutchlow, this rider and that rider. It ain't that easy! People are very eager to try and align somebody with Marquez to marginalize and/or diminish his ability. There won't be another Marquez for a very long time.
Your dead right Realist. I remember putting my neck out a bit when Spies came to Moto GP. Never again, and especially against MM.
Maybe he meant talent above Alex Marquez...

MotoGP » Marquez: New era depends on more than one rider

@herewego: although I agree it's not close to 80% rider/20% bike anymore, 5/95 is too far the other way. I think Marquez & Lorenzo were clearly the best riders, and they came out on top. On the topic of the article, I really like this kid Marquez. He's always smiling, shows his team & rivals great respect, is well spoken and he's 20 years old & the freaking MotoGP world champion. Can't wait to see he, Lorenzo, Pedrosa, and whomever duke it out again next year!

MotoGP » Lorenzo arrives at Assen, will try to ride!

I love these guys. Jorge himself lost the end of a finger two years ago, Crutchlow & Edwards raced with freshly broken collarbones, and Marquez just broke some bones this weekend and they're barely saying anything about it. And let's not forget the toughest of them all, Mick Doohan, who raced barely removed from almost dying/losing his leg. Talk about tough!
