F1 » Vettel: You can’t be stupid with team-mates

DR outdrove Vettel in quali & in the race, Vettel pushed Massa off the track & his blocking move on DR on the straight was very unsportsmanlike. Yes Richard, Vettel has a great record & is a good driver, BUT he is not as "at one" with this new technology car as he was up until last year & it is showing. Give credit where it is due, DR is not Webber, he is better than Webber that's why RBR have been grooming him - he will ultimately inherit the RBR crown from Vettel, natural progression mate. DR has that mongrel tenacity that will get him WDC's & RBR will rightly support him.

F1 » Webber sure he 'got the timing right' on F1 departure

A lot of us were up at 2am in eastern Oz & were so happy to see you have a great race & get that solid 2nd place, congrats & thanks Mark for being such a genuine bloke all these years. Your contribution to F1 & as an inspiration to Australians involved in motorsport is etched in history with or without a WDC. All the best in your next venture with Porsche, we will still be watching & barracking for you.

F1 » Vettel signs off the year with historic ninth

Even though the titles had already been decided it was a fitting end of season race with the unpredictable situations which are often a feature of Brazil. A great climax for Webber to his F1 career, he never had a shot unless Vettel had car problems, but to finish a clear 2nd & claim 3rd in WDC was deserved. Alonso was solid & both McLaren's in the points a pleasant surprise. The penalty on Lulu was questionable as was Massa's, & it was a shame to see Grosjean's early exit, he is a real challenger to Vettel's superiority in years to come.

F1 » Webber ready to bid farewell

Mark is & has been a good honest quick driver, we all have memories of his good moments & his rotten luck moments. He has been a straight talking no nonsense regular guy which endears him to most. It would be fitting to see him get win No.10 but he has had a successful enough F1 career, & will hopefully continue to succeed in his role at Porsche

F1 » You have to be ruthless at times, admits Vettel

I am not a Vettel lover but I respect his undoubted driving talent, his record speaks for itself. Any man or woman wanting to win has to have the mental fortitude and application to totally concentrate on the task at hand, I don't consider that ruthless in the way the press play it up. A winner in any sport needs to be totally focused. Vettel happens to be in a very good car which matches his driving style and finesse, and he has a loyal efficient team behind him, when he jumps in that car he has but one intention.

F1 » Webber surprised by change of strategy

RBR used clever & subtle strategy to ensure Seb prevailed. Understandably they reduce the risk by ensuring their two drivers aren't racing each other. By bringing Mark in first & we all know Mark is harder on tires they confirm how many more laps Seb can do on his. Unless Seb crashes or has a mechanical failure he will always have due priority. Mark gets paid very well & knows this.

F1 » 'Disciplined' Vettel keeps marching forward in Korea

Vettel won another race, well done - perfect car & driver match up. But to those who say it was a boring race I am not sure what you expect, the racing going on especially for the points positions was serious & exciting. As to the other "negative-ites" there are no bad drivers on the F1 grid, as expected some are a little better than others & of course no two cars are the same. F1 has never been a fully level playing field as much as Bernie tries to make it so & hopefully it never will be.
