MotoGP » Crutchlow: Riding Honda is like a double whammy

Quote: "there are three or four guys in the top 12 who really shouldn't be there with that soft tyre." Wow, he's basically insulting & belittling Dovi, Ianonne, Bradl & Aleix. What in insufferable idiot, there I said it. Also, the new extra soft tyre is harder than last years for your Information. Bradl and some other riders complained about it last year but they said it is what it is and moved on and yet, here is Cal still crying about it.

MachSpeed: why don't the non repsol honda's do at least as good as the tech 3 yamahas?
Inferior riders. Cal has been telling whole hes Motogp career "I could do this I could do that" If I had the same bike as xxx. Same for Redding last year, "it doesent have enough power". You could say they are new to the bike and will gain performance, only problem is, so will the others. Both of them need to step up. Especially Redding being so close to the RS.
But Cal was regularly beating non repsol hondas during his tech 3 days. The last rider I remember who looked threatening on a non repsol honda was Simoncelli.
Cal was beating Bautista and Bradl... but "certainly" not regularly. Both of them have beaten CC as much as he has beaten them, it was pretty even. Check motogp dot com for the statistics if you don't believe me.

MotoGP » Crutchlow: Marquez must be a freak!

Look at the recent LCR riders and how they performed 2006 - Casey Stoner, 8th in the overall championship ranking and got nicknamed "Rolling Stoner" because he crashed very often. 2007 - Carlos Checa, new crashing record with 32 crashes during a season. It was his worst season and when asked at which point did he acknowledge it's gonna be a rough season he replied "the first test day when I rode the LCR Honda for the first time" 2008 - 2010 - Randy de Puniet, beefy stopped counting Randy's crashes when they reached 40, Randy had to pay 15% of the damage from his own pocket. 2011 - Toni Elias, his and LCR worst season by far. 2012 -2014 - Stefan Bradl, great first season 8th in the overall championship, then 7th and in his last season with the team 9th with many crashes. Made the privateer Honda look better than it actually was. (look at Bautista) 2015 - Cal Crutchlow ... oh boy, it won't be pretty

MotoGP » Crutchlow: Marquez must be a freak!

Looking back at all those years and how the privateer/satellite Honda's performed it's fairly obvious that it is far form being the best bike. Hell, even the Factory Honda bikes are far from the be-all and end-all and riders like Stoner, Marquez, Pedrosa and even Dovi made the bike look better than it actually was/is. Also, LCR is terrible team and Christophe 'Beefy' Bourgignon (LCR's crew chief since 2007) is a huge hack.

MotoGP » Sepang MotoGP test times - Wednesday (Final)

JedPB67:
TurboBoost23: lol how on earth do people get the impression yam are ahead of honda based on this? what a joke. HRC have three different chassis to test, obviously its gonna take a helluva lot of setup and testing to pick which chassis the individual riders want. More rossifilers grasping at straws lmao
You have no idea what the teams are testing or in what order and your comment about HRC testing 3 different chassis is pinched from someone who commented on another post earlier.
I'm the someone who made that "3 frames" comment. The source is at speedweek dot com, there is an interview with Marc where he states what he tested today. Before that there was an interview with either the Nakamoto or Suppo where they announced days before the test that they are going to test with 3 or 4 different versions of the bike including last years bike.
