FE » Prost accepts fault, handed penalty

@WhoCares I agree that it was not an intentional manoeuvre, as you say they are good friends, but the incident certainly merited a penalty, a more severe one at that. It was Nico's responsibility to look in his mirrors, you can never assume what the guy behind is or isn't going to do, so he should have had his eyes firmly on his mirrors. Heidfeld was ready to pounce, he knew Nick wouldn't just disappear, an overtaking attempt was inevitable, whereas the result was completely avoidable. Would not expect this sort of thing in Formula Renault let alone an FIA sanctioned world championship. Dangerous and thoughtless driving.

FE » Beijing ePrix - Race results

Shocking move by Prost, what was he thinking!? Such a shame because he had had such a strong race but a penalty is warranted for sure, Heidfeld was extremely lucky. As for the show in general, pretty good. Not sure what I make of the music and the cars do have a Lord of the Rings Ringwraith sound about them, but overall a good start.

F1 » Mattiacci blames grid positions for poor showing

Started too far behind? Alonso was the highest placed driver on the grid without a Mercedes engine pushing him along, he punched above his weight with arguably the least competitive engine out there. Kimi could have been higher on the grid but the underlining fact is that if you want them to do better you need to give them better equipment.
