MotoGP » Smith: Signed, seamless, ready to deliver

He needs to start showing what he is capable of instead of just saying it. He had a long overdue result in qualifying at Brno, the race was disappointing but seems he had a few gremlins to contend with. I honestly don't think he deserves another year on the M1, but Herve is a loyal team boss, so you can only respect that. Good luck to the lad, he needs to prove his critics wrong. On a side note it makes me laugh, speak against a rider/driver and you're an armchair critic, big a rider/driver up and you're a fanboy. Damned if you do, damned it you don't! Can't people just take people's comments for what they are? People have different opinions, oppose them fine, but respect them too.

WRC » Ogier grabs early lead in Germany

@Taz Have to admit I've been slightly disappointed with Kubica this year. Ok this is his first season in WRC, but the way in which he dominated last years WRC2 series with consistency and pace made me feel he would at least be in contention for podiums this year. Sadly not, even Bouffier has more points than Robert and he has only competed in two rallies. Hoping to see him bring it home in an error free and strong position before the season is out.

F1 » Lotterer confirmed at Caterham

F1 has been so cruel to Kamui, he has more talent in his left thumb than several drivers on the F1 grid, all of which have far superior drives. He is exciting on and off the track and how is he repaid? With his p45. All the best to Andre, it's not his fault and granted he does have an impressive CV, but he doesn't deserve Kamui's seat. Bad call Caterham.

FE » Ex-F1 driver Piquet Jr returns to single-seaters

sodesu: Some exciting drivers yeah, although I wouldn't necessarily put Piquet in that category... The pit stops and fan boost are massive turn offs for me though. But I'll give it an honest chance!
I'm looking forward to the pit stops, however, I fear what impact they will have from a marketing standpoint. It's all well and good showcasing electronic car technologies on the race track, but if a single car can't get from A to B what will the casual observer think? Most people can't afford two cars, let alone have one conveniently placed half way to the destination they are travelling to.
