MotoGP » EXCLUSIVE: Crutchlow talks 2014 ahead of Ducati exit

"Dovi isn't going to win a race, yes he will podium but the boring little mediterranean hasn't the heart to push to the very limit..." Sorry to say but Crutchlows wiping out and regular inconsistency is no more a sign of "heart" and "pushing it to the limit" than Dovizioso's very consistently outperforming Crutchlow is a sign of that man being boring or lacking heart. Oh and BTW I've been "fan" of motorcycle racing since the days of Kenny R. senior and Bob Hannah. Owned a bunch as well, street and motocross. Not that those facts mean allot but who are you to generalize about other people being fans of the sport of motorcycle racing or not? Answer: No one.

MotoGP » EXCLUSIVE: Crutchlow talks 2014 ahead of Ducati exit

kma55: He talks of not having the opportunity to progress, but he will be in exactly the same situation at Honda. I doubt he will ever get a Repsol ride, they'll most likely continue with Pedrosa for the foreseeable future until one of the younger guys prove they have what it takes to be worthy of the seat.
Replacing Pedrosa with Crutchlow will never happen in a million years and would be along the lines of an absolute sin if it did. It won't. Crutchlow is not that good, a PA nightmare, and Honda is more intelligent then that.

MotoGP » 'One Euro' wire cost Crutchlow chance of fourth

eadgbe: Ducati must be pretty p***ed off with Cal. Early season when they were still behind him, he was rubbish. Now he's been given the cast-offs, he's showing up the lack of progress with the 2014.2 (or whatever it's called). Doesn't bode well for next years Duke. as for Cal's lack of PR speak - when was the last time you remembered anything Dovi said?
Well I remember quite clearly that over the past few years Dovizioso has very consistently beaten Crutchlow on the track. And while speaking of consistency, off the track Dovi has shown way more maturity loyalty and class than old Cal.

MotoGP » Rossi: Mistake to leave Yamaha over No.1 status

DaveLush: Ben Spies was a quality rider, in his rookie season He got multiple podiums on the tech3 bike, in his first factory year (2011) he won the Assen GP and almost clinched another at Valencia, but was out dragged to the line by Casey. His 2nd season in the factory just went wrong. lots of breakdowns and DNFs, IMO It was almost as though someone had sabotaged his bike so he wouldn't beat Lorenzo, alternatively it might be that Yamaha had a made a deal at the beginning of 2012 with Rossi to comeback in 2013 and they need to get Ben out of the team. These last 2 are based on pure fictions and I have no evidence to back them up.
Almost seems like someone wanted Spies out of the way, but I have to believe that is not actually what happened. If someone was messing around with the bike that way it could have cost Spies his life. I just cant believe even the suits at Yamaha would risk that, and the legal / PR ramifications if something like along th

MotoGP » Casey Stoner to test 2015 Honda, Michelins

herewego: It's a while since Casey Stoner rode a MotoGP bike competitively, so I don't think his feed back will as relevant as a lot of people will think it should be!! Stoner packed in racing for reasons that to me were a bit pathetic, but that was his decision, so why does he want to come back now and again, when he feels like it, to test a bike?? I don't get it at all as one minute he is slagging MotoGP off, the next he is back on a bike testing!! He won 2 world titles, not exactly mind blowing, so let him do what he says he wants to - nowt much !!
Are you high? Just curious. Seems so... Pretty good **** too from your comment. Many, if not virtually all factory test riders never ride MotoGP competitively. As in not once, ever. Secondly most riders that make it to MotoGP never win a single race let alone 2 titles. Yeah I'm pretty sure you may have a buzz going on. Stoner is one of the all time greats and I'm sure his input to Honda is hugely respected and

MotoGP » Crutchlow: That's the boost we needed

DamZen1: Nice podium Cal, shall we name a bunch of Ducati pilots that haven't a podium trophy, naaagh. Ducati missed it here, Cals had a tardy season and not all his fault and probably because of his mouth or the shoulder barge he been dismissed, guess what Ducati? being politically correct isn't the way to ride a bike, its with the wrist and seat of the pants. It took Dovi a season and a half to score a trophy it took Cal half that and the same amount of time to be pushed. The Ducatista took a dislike to another rider for their love of the Italian dream and it appears the same mongrels are still in charge.
Crutchlow as good a rider as Dovizioso? Not reflected by the vast majority of results.

MotoGP » Crutchlow: That's the boost we needed

shakennstirred:
vonich: It's normal not to get all the updates for if you are set to leave at the end of the season. In this type of race only the guy that makes the right decision and stay calm will cross the finish line first. Everyone deserve a thumbs up.
yeah it is, but seeing as they say next years bike will be all new, I don't see why they aren't giving him updates to this years bike if that's really the case
Well it might have something to do with that over and over with what he has said Crutchlow has shown next to *zero*loyalty to the brand paying his salary.
