MotoGP » Jack Miller tipped for the top

For those who say he showed nothing last year. He was the highest placed Honda in 8 of the 17 rounds they raced. There were 11 or 12 other Honda each race. He was the highest placed Honda in the championship and 37 points ahead of Fenati who was also on a Honda. He showed enough for the most coveted seat in Moto3 to be offered to him. Continuing to say he showed nothing just shows a complete ignorance of the sport.

If he gets the ride it is because he will be the first Australian in history to pay for a ride rather than earn it. Australia has got this huge TV market and without an Aussie in MotoGP the sponsors will lose money. His KTM this year, although identical to the dozen others he is riding against, is far superior and the only reason he is winning. I know all this because Elvis told me when serving me my lunch at McDonalds. Michael Jackson confirmed it in an e-mail.

Yearby23 didn't attend his "Sarcasm 101" lectures. I was listing the rubbish the others have been saying about Miller in other threads. I was actually defending him Yearby23. As for all this rubbish about having to go through Moto2. Gary McCoy jumped to 500 and MotoGP with a bit of success. Depends on the rider and as I have said before, he will trial the bigger bike and decisions will be made on those trials.

MotoGP » Miller to join Crutchlow at LCR?

I can't believe that people are saying Miller would get a ride because of money!!! For ever and a day the only countries where the riders have had to give up all, move tens of thousands of miles form home, live in damn caravans and prove their worth via their riding have been Australian and New Zealanders. If GP and World Superbike seats were given purely on merit there would have been far more Aussie and NZ riders than there has been. Don't try to rewrite history with such stupid claims about Aussies buying seats. It has been and continues to be exactly the opposite.

RFS131, I do believe he stuck it up those on far superior machinery to his Honda last year. It was clear last year that if he was on a KTM he would have been a title contender. That is how he earned his ride. That is why Honda put a lot of effort into improving their bike for 2014. Now KTM and Honda are fairly even. His KTM is no better than his rivals but idiots still decide to accuse every Australian who wins a race of having superior equipment.

They will stick Miller on a MotoGP bike and see how he goes before signing him up for a season. People with far more knowledge than Crash.net keyboard experts will watch and judge. The people who weigh up the pros and cons of putting him on a seat that costs millions of dollars a season just to get on the track are professionals who do it for a living.

MotoGP » Moto3: Miller marks himself ‘five out of ten’

I laugh at those who continue to make up fairy tales about Stoner. He thanked his team EVERY race no matter the result. He only ever mentioned factual problems with the bike which is what is expected when somebody asks you how it is going. In the past I showed that for every thing Stoner was accused of whining about Rossi or others had said exactly the same things. I challenge the Stoner bashers to show me a single post race interview when he has podiumed where he does not thank the team. Miller has the same problems to look forward to. Honest, straight forward Aussies are so different than the sanitized clones they seem to offend the sensibilities of the Europeans.
