F1 » Webber: Ricciardo chance good for F1

Before we get more "Vergne deserved it more" rubbish. Daniel thrashed him in the 2008 Formula Renault 2.0 West European Championship and the 2008 and the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup series. He won the 2009 British Formula 3 Championship. He thrashed Vergne again in the 2010 World Series by Renault 3.5 Championship. He has finished ahead of Vergne in far more F1 races than the other way around. He was Red bull's No 1 choice from the beginning and he did not get the seat because others were unavailable. He will surprise Vettel and be a contender.

MotoGP » Rossi: We tried everything for home podium

Rhino, probably been watching racing longer than you have been alive. The point people are making is that he has a Japanese factory bike and can't compete with the three other Japanese factory riders. In that race he is 4th and by a long way. We are not having a go at his past achievements or his desire to do well. What we are doing is questioning the waste of a factory ride when it could be given to a younger and potentially faster rider.

MotoGP » Casey Stoner tipped to quit V8 Supercars

So when Rossi finally retires we can call him a quitter? What is the logic behind that crap when Stoner announced his RETIREMENT when still thrashing Pedrosa and a couple of points behind Lorenzo and still favorite for the 2012 title! He walked away from 22 million dollars that would have been in his pocket no matter what. For God's sake, don't you think the fact he kept his word and retired shows how tire he was of the whole circus!!! As for MotoGP paying his wages. MotoGP makes a huge amount of money from Stoner and the other riders risking their lives. MotoGP owes the riders not the other way around!

MotoGP » Casey Stoner tipped to quit V8 Supercars

DB8, you have no idea what the hell you are talking about! In a field of 31 to 35 cars Stoner has qualified 12th, 10th, 7th and 11th. THat if damned good considering the cars are all equal and he has ahd two hours or less to learn the track!!!! His only bad qualifying was Winton where he qualified 20th and was involved in the big crash on lap1. But but he still managed to pass 13 cars in the 2nd race and 14 cars in the 3rd race. I state the facts and people like you who call me a fan boy never have anything useful to contribute.

MotoGP » Casey Stoner tipped to quit V8 Supercars

He likes the V8s. He enjoys the V8s. He hasn't decided if he will compete in the Dunlop series next year. If he does well at the support races at Bathurst then I would expect him to be back in 2014 as long as they change the race format. Otherwise he will take the year off and come back refreshed in 2015. Trouble with the current Dunlop regulations is that a bad result in Race 1 stuffs you up for Race 2 and 3. So although he is qualifying up near the front he is getting punted off by others and having to start at the back or midpack for the next two races. He is capable of mixing it with the best drivers at the front but has not had the chance having to pass 10 to 15 cars each race. Oh, and quitting is when you get paid a heap of money by a factory team to develop their bike and produce negative results for two season and spit your dummy and go running back to an easier ride. Sound familiar?

MotoGP » Six of the bravest: MotoGP stars racing injured

Podster, I am glad you explained APCS as being the cause for Rossi's poor performance on the Ducati. I though it was DACTM! (Dawdle Around Collect The Money) which he still seems to be suffering from in 2013! Ad for brave. The 4 races Stoner did in 2009 with the untreated lactose intolerance were pretty damn gutsy. He looked like death warmed up. But of course he is he world's best actor and the Australian doctors are liars and her was nothing really wrong with him.

MotoGP » Rossi makes top 10 highest paid in motorsport list

Here we got with the Stoner "quit" rubbish. He retired after 14 years overseas. He announced his retirement whilst still thrashing his team mate and looking like he would win the 2012 championship. He did not give up when losing or injured or anything else. Fact is Rossi was offered a fraction by Yamaha that Stoner was by Honda. Since seems to be full of Stoner haters who keep boasting about Rossi it was inevitable that pointing this out would bring on the rubbish comments.
