F1 » Rosberg comfortably wins season-opener

WylieCoyote: They will probably introduce megaphones for the cars. They did that for the motorcycles in the 50s and 60s to increase the noise. You also have to remember they are only doing about 12,000 RPM and not their max 15,000 at the moment. Daniel showed why he was signed. Not a single slip up all weekend. Fast dry, fast wet. He was about 20KMH slower down the straights than the Mercedes powered cars but it looks like the Red Bull has superb handling. Might take a while to catch up that gap. Hard to tell with the Ferrari as they were very conservative all weekend and I don't think we saw what their raw speed is.
Yeah your right about the bikes. My Dad took me to a classic bike show at Mallory park and hearing Ago's MV and Especially Hailwoods honda 6 gave me goosebumps. What a sound.

F1 » Ricciardo excluded from Australian GP

107SS2009: Smithy/Taipan, the rules say 100kg of fuel for the race (lights to flag) and a maximum of 100kg/h fuel flow, The FIA wording does not speak in litres. Now here is some weight and quantity notes, unleaded pump fuel as used in F1 can weigh between 0.71kg/l to 0.78kg/l, at a weight of 0.71kg/l the quantity will be 129litres, at a weight of 0.78kg/l the quantity will be 122litres.
Of course 100kg not 100L D'oh! My mistake. Do they still chill the fuel do you know? Or is that not allowed anymore?

F1 » Red Bull to appeal Ricciardo exclusion

Haha I love it! As a fan of both F1 and Motogp that someone would say something like that when in Moto gp if you get a podium and your bike isn't a full factory prototype Honda or Yamaha the powers that be will take engines and fuel from you and make you race in one of 3 different tiers ( all in the same class ). Wow that's brave to say that you would get fed up with changing with the times to a complete farce different rules depending the make of bike you have championship. That's pretty brave.
