F1 » Vettel title hangs in balance

Having watched the video several times, I think the clue is in the two cars immediately in front of Vergne. The four cars were travelling in convoy until the second yellow light. Just before Vettel overtook Vergne the two cars in front took off like scalded cats (not that I've ever scalded a cat to find out the effect). I would seem that they had seen a green flag, Vettel had seen the green flag, but Vergne had missed it. Simple answer ask the two drivers in front of Vergne at that point if they saw a green flag.

Apparently the footage from the on car camera, which shows the incident, was not shown on the live broadcast, as the Brazilian producers were airing a replay of the start. The footage only seems to have emerged, at the BBC, after the race. It was spotted by some viewers who were using the red button to watch on board footage and I believe that they brought it to the attention of those who are now looking into it.

F1 » Karthikeyan: I was following orders

Vettel would have everyone believe that he has always been a perfect driver. It was Riciardo's fault that he swerved and hit the distance marker when behind the safety car, in Abu Dhabi this year, damaging his front wing. Yeah right! Let us not forget that, in his 2007 rookie year, when driving for Torro Rosso in the queue behind the safety car, he smashed into the back of his current team mate, Mark Webber, putting them both out of the race and was later seen in tears at the back of the Torro Rosso garage. People in glass houses.....

F1 » Alguersuari: Pressure can do funny things

What Bernie wants is for Fernando to win in Brazil and for Sebastian to snatch fourth place, on the very last corner, of the very last lap. With the points then tied Sebastian then wins the championship on count-back. But surely, for that to happen again, someone (not Timo Glock this time) would need to be running in fourth place , on slicks, in the rain? Deja vu anyone.

F1 » Lotus to feel the ‘burn’ as Coca-Cola enters F1

Looks like a brand awareness campaign to me. I, for one, had never heard of it before today. Red Bull I can recognise and Monster, with it's distinctive, lime green ragged claw, logo. But a red flame on a black background may be a little difficult to spot, on a black car. Maybe it's because I'm old and feeble and don't drink any of them. If I'm tired I take a nap not a caffeine drink.
