MotoGP » Forward Racing expands, FTR-Kawasakis in MotoGP

Edwards has spent much of the year whining about his bike. However he already had 12 races under his belt on the Suter when Petrucci switched to Suter and since then Petrucci has gone from being five places behind Edwards to finishing on equal points and beating him in the standings. Seems to show that there isn't too much wrong with the Suter at all. Edwards had better hope for two things next year. Firstly that he beats Corti and secondly that he doesn't get beaten by any Suters. Word is Petrucci will be staying on the Ioda Suter next year, wonder if he'll beat Edwards...

MotoGP » Dovizioso overcomes pit lane stall for top six

Interesting use of language in some of your reports on this race. Dovi finished "top six" and Pirro finished "top five". Why do you do this. Why can't your headlines say Dovi finished sixth and Pirro fifth? If you think there's something deeply significant about the top five then there can't be something equally significant about the top six. Yes I can see the point of talking about podium finishes and finishing in the points, but most of this "top n" talk is pretty pointless. The only other significant "top n" would be a CRT finishing top 12 when all the prototypes finish.

MotoGP » Nakasuga talks 'miracle' MotoGP podium

How Fandom Works: If a rider you support makes the right tyre choice then it was all part of a clever strategy and shows just how great he is. If a rider you don't support makes the right tyre choice then he gambled and was lucky. This applies doubly when the rider in question beats your favoured rider. Likewise if your favourite falls he was unlucky. If a rider you don't like falls he made a stupid rookie error.

MotoGP » Rain to ruin Stoner’s final victory hopes?

@WylieCoyote returning to MotoGP? Does anybody really believe that's going to happen? Stoner won't come back unless he can get a top factory ride. So we're looking at two years off at least. No matter who you are two years without practice at the top level will leave you rusty. Who's going to sign somebody straight to a #1 factory ride under those circumstances?
