F1 » Alonso bemoans lack of driver influence in F1

In one paragraph, he highlights that because he is going around the China track 10 sec slower than in 2004, "you don't have the same feelings". Then, in another paragraph, he states that go-karting with his friends is so much fun because of the competition, even at 50 kmph. One can only conclude that his enjoyment (lack of) for the current sport, is less to do with lap times and more to do with the lack of competing for the win....... One tip for you, the field will not come back to you! If you want to compete for the win again, lift your game (the only thing you can control). Having a reliable car will also help but you cannot control that (although you did chose to leave Ferrari)....

MotoGP » Rossi: We were always fighting some problem

Good race from all! Well done JLo. Dominated from first session to race end! Well done MM to do well after the past fortnight with no points from Argentina and then your injury while training! Well done VR, you snagged your 200th podium, extended your lead in the WC and showed once again that you are always thinking of the title rather than a race win or position! To the haters, interesting that a 3rd place, extension of WC lead and a happy snap with JLo can bring such condemation from the penut gallery? Even the haters expect VR to win and anything less is apparently proof of people know he's the best but simply refuse to admit it and you have done such a wonderful job of backing yourselves into a corner over the past 5 years. Gota roll with it now, don't ya!

MotoGP » Honda rule out Stoner comeback in 2015

Simon Cartledge: I can't see Marquez or his team really saying anything to stop Stoner coming back. Like many people, I wasn't a fan of Stoner when he was around but it has got to the point now, where I'd love to see him back, if that's what he wants to do. You just get that feeling that its going to happen.
I tend to think the only reason he would get back in is because both Dorna & Rossi would love to make an example of him.......

MotoGP » Honda rule out Stoner comeback in 2015

My how 2 years is a long time in MotoGP! Rossi was down and out, Stoner had the results to stick the boot in and Jlo was smooth as butter and hard as a hammer..... 2 years on, Rossi in the hunt for number 10 WC and already 2 wins from 3 starts, Stoner still cannot get back in even though everyone keeps claiming he was the second coming and Jlo now has to announce that even though he signed a 2 year deal, he has been confirmed for the second year of said deal.... WTF? The haters must be exploding like gremlins in a microwave....Karma is a b#@ch isn't it!!!!! ....wait, I will be back, I just need more pop corn :)

MotoGP » Rossi on brink of record 200th podium

GRANN1EJANE: Must've been the Ducati then.
Yup, the bike he was incapable to tame, UNLIKE Stoner.
Stoner didn't tame the Ducati. Remember he jumped ship after round 3 2010 to sign with Honda because he couldn't tame it. Remember he didn't win until round 13-14 in 2010 because he couldn't tame it. Simply another myth perpetuated by Moaner fans to hide the fact he was gifted a better bike & tire package in 2007 (4th on Ducati's list as I remember!) and was then put back in his place 2008 by the one and only DOCTOR! Heck, he couldn't even tame his WC winning Honda with an extra 4kg......a bike that won 12 races that year (Pedro won 7 or 8 of them).....I mean, WTF?

MotoGP » Marquez: Zero intention to cause the accident

Let it go haters! Vales results are now forcing you to take an incident he had not created nor control over, and declare it was not only his fault, but that he did it on purpose? From any angle of footage, Vale was in front at both points of contact! It's up to the guy passing to ensure his (and the rider he is attempting to pass) safety! If you claim MM was not attempting a pass, then what the heck was MM doing so close in the first place? Haters, let it go because it's clouding your judgement and you are making yourselves look quite silly now......

MotoGP » Rossi: Marquez made a mistake

To those who say VR did it on purpose...... If he did, it simply confirms he is the GOAT! Imagine having the ability to direct a GP bike going at 180+ kph, on a change of direction, to knock the other guys tire out, fully confident you would not crash yourself or damge the bike leading to a retirement???? Only the true GOAT could do that....right? If he didn't, well, lets not consider that option because it would (once again) shatter your beliefs that VR cannot win unless he has special tires, the better bike, a lack of competition or plays dirty etc. Did it on purpose? What a joke! If it was anyone else, you'd be saying "bad MM, he does this all the time, it's just a matter of time before he hurts someone" but as it was Vale, "Vale did it on purpose." Let go of the hate people....

MotoGP » Rossi and Marquez: Racing incident

Motojunky: Just read all the posts, and am I the only one that thinks the wording on this article is wrong ? "Marquez's front wheel was hit by Rossi's rear wheel, sending the reigning double champion tumbling down the track". Should it not say, "Rossi's rear wheel was hit by Marques front wheel" That's the way I see it, and wording it the way they have makes it sound like Rossi did something wrong. I am 100% confident he did not. Anyway it is irrelevant, because 24hrs after the race I am still smiling.
Spot on Moto! The other stand out example in the article is "Ultimately Marquez found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time." VR didn't simply develop out of thin air in front of MM (although, after being run down by almost 5 seconds within 10 laps it may have felt like it)! The riders have a throttle, brake and brain. MM put himself and VR in that situation...
