MotoGP » Helmet issue 'cost Lorenzo chance of victory'

I have ridden with a fogged up visor and it was hard to see. When vr used this reason for a time loss over 2 laps 3 or 4 years ago, the haters stated how weak an excuse and most people could just deal with it! My point....this is different? I suspect before seasons end that jlo will endure glove issues, boot issues, suit issues and issues with his energy drink! Many issues for jlo this year but not the ducs or vr or marquez coz he has them covered ..... other than the issues!!!

MotoGP » ‘The GP15 is a real Ducati’

Of course its a Ducati! These are brands not physical things. Ducati is not determined by the frame or even the desmo valve system. These may be what brought the brand to prominence but it's still a abrand. They made sewing machines and pumps before they made bikes..... Is Honda realy a Honda? I mean, is the CBR a V4 or an inline 4? I can't ride my Honda generator! Is the Yamaha realy a Yamaha? I mean, don't they make musical instruments (tuning forks ring any bells?)? If you are going to discredit a brand based on it not remaining the same forever and doing the same things forever, you better discredit all brands for all things because nothing stays the same for ever! So are you saying my Ducati branded watch is not a Ducati? It's a Ducati and I for one am happy to have them competitive again. So long as they are not allowed to run away due to the concessions....

MotoGP » ‘The GP15 is a real Ducati’

PS - Dovi is a damn good rider who will consistantly challenge for the podium (and wins) while Iannone along with Marc will keep Jlo from running off in the first 3-5 laps keeping all of the top 6 in the hunt. Per norm, it will becamoe a game of he who can manage his tires the best while making the least mistakes, will win! While different, I would not be surprised if both Dovi and Iannone win a race through 2015....

MotoGP » Rossi ready to go: 'It will be a good season'

Sete: If you look at Race Wins in the last two years since Marquez arrived in MotoGP and Rossi returned to Yamaha, it's a tall order indeed to expect Rossi to get another championship. Reality is the infamous "mind games" and "battles" are just not working, statistics point to Lorenzo as the only serious challenger for the crown. Marquez - 19 wins Lorenzo -10 wins Pedrosa - 4 wins Rossi - 3 wins Skeptical nah - just keeping it real. Personally, I'd like to see a real upset. Looks like Ducati have built a rocketship and It would be so cool to see Dovi get a championship.
To Yearby & Sete, No, stats don't lie but peoples take on them do....over the last year (only as relevant as your last year...) MM 13 wins, VR 2 wins, JL 2 wins, DP 1 win VR since re-joining Yam has only improved where as Jlo has flatened...no metronome anymore as he cannot shoot off and keep clean air in front of him, that boat has sailed! Now with the Duc's looks even more distant...

F1 » Red Bull issues quit threat over regulations

A silly dummy spit.... Four WC in a row and the last 2 were sooooo easy yet no complaint by RedBull at how boring the sport was or calls to equalise the regulations? Shoe now is on the other foot and we have threats of leaving the sport if the situation is not rectified? Simple observation.......Ferrari finished 30+ secs behind where as RedBull were lapped so even with Mercs "advantage" taken out of the equation, RedBull are not as competitive as they should be or have been. Fix your own backyard up first RedBull, before calling for other teams to be held back!

WSBK » Bayliss back for Thailand, better prepared

How is that....at 46, no prep and he can keep pace respectibly with the current crop! He can only improve with fitness, more bike prep time and especially this next round where the track is new to everyone. I think top ten is a certain and if he, with the team, can work out the rear grip issues, I would not count out a top 6 either. Go Troy, Go!!!!!! PS - Hope this doesn't cause any tensions with his family (they have had him now for 6 years and he seems itching to go again). I realy thought he just wanted the go around in Aus. and then he would be content.

MotoGP » Rossi: New Ducati ‘fast’, tyre rule ‘unfair’

separated: @Joeski Yes, the 2007 Ducati was the fastest package, but the question is who could have ridden it as well as Stoner did? Why did riders like Capirossi and Melandri perform so poorly relatively to him?
And in this one comment, you have shown the VR haters how stupid it was to claim all his wins and titles didn't count because he had the best equipment!!!!!!! Others had same and the difference was even bigger..... I love how as time goes by, the constant flow of contradictions ultimatley prove the VR fans right (not to mention VR's results).

MotoGP » Rossi: New Ducati ‘fast’, tyre rule ‘unfair’

Don't like where this dicussion has headed. All of a sudden, tyre advantages / disadvantages are not a real issue and simply Vale is having a sook many are insinuating! Interesting how many of these "many" where crying foul in 2012 when tyre changes that EVERYONE had to live by were introduced......how unfair that was proclaimed by many of said "many". Typical, not unexpected but still disappointing! Contradictions everywhere..... Could it be Vale is simply telling it how it is (the irony)??

MotoGP » Incidents mar Michelin MotoGP test

Brain:
therealDave:
Brain:
Codger: RaceRoad & JedPB67 ... .
Brain, your theory is wrong and Codgers is right...proof.... Sepang Race QP 2010 - Nicky Hayden 2.01.637 & Casey Stoner 2.02.023 Sepang Test 2011 (24/02/2011) - Valentino Rossi 2.01.469 Please, explain how the numbers are distorted and not a true reflection of Codgers logic?
. The bikes and tires get better every year and even the Ducati got faster. Case in point, Stoners Ducati was faster in 2010 than it was in 2007 but nowhere near as competitive..Second, you are comparing testing to racing, which anyone who knows anything about the sport knows they are not comparable. Its why testing times are unofficial and dont count in the record book. Thats why i compared test to test, not test to race. Point being, Stoner kept the Ducati competitive when it was hopelessly behind and Rossi couldnt.
No, still wrong Brain!
