MotoGP » Rossi: I hope this contract isn't my last

alol: It's obvious that Rossi is hell bent on trying to beat Ago's 122 wins and whether that is to the detriment of up and coming and possibly more deserving riders then so be it. As for the sheep like Guna4699 saying he has dominated the era of Lorenzo & Stoner and will doninate the era of MM, haha. He dominated Biaggi and Gibernau thanks to being younger, Having for the most part better machinery and overnight special tyres.Don't think he would go back to Honda again? Haha unlike Yamaha they have dignity so no way would they take him back into a factory slot.
Does alol stand for "a laugh out loud"?.....because you sure are funny!

MotoGP » Rossi: I hope this contract isn't my last

Brain:
Guna4699: I want another two seasons atleast,, he said this quite a few times already... Dominated the era of Stoner and Lorenzo. Back to dominating form in the era of Marc.
Get a hold of yourself.. Stoner and Lorenzo both have/had better numbers in the time they raced against Rossi,. I cant beleive you would even talk about Rossi dominating in the era of Marquez.
As a numbers man Brain, you know the major number that counts are titles! All numbers aside, in 100+ years, people will be talking about Ago, Roberts, Doohan, Rossi and Marquez as one distinct group, then they will talk about those riders who pushed Ago, Roberts, Doohan, Rossi and Marquez!

MotoGP » McWilliams: Incredible Rossi can never be written off

Lancsmann: I think McWilliams put the twin cylinder bike on pole at Philip Island against the fours in the dry once. Top rider.
Yeh...2000 and it was cracker of a race with Biaggi taking the win from Capirex and Rossi 3rd (funny today's complaints about the spaniards but no complaints when it was the Italians dominating) McWilliams got swamped off the start and was in the teens at the end of the first lap but with 6 odd laps to go (I think) had worked his way into the top 5 until his tyres went off. The guy could (and still can) ride a bike :) PS - An historic moment here, first Rossi thread in history with more than one post that does not (yet) have a disagree...........

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Fourth best I could do under circumstances

The point I made, with which some of you disagree, is that Jlo once was very tough as shown by 2013 collar bone racing and 2008 ankle's racing and he never made excuses for it....almost a statement of how good he was because he could continue with such injuries (and still place top 5). Fast forward to 2015 and after a poor 2014 (by his standards) and the tough guy is replaced with someone who is affected by his helmet and bronchitis on top of 2014 inflictions such as mosquitto's and a couple of extra kilo's? One poster here has hit the nail on the head...Jlo has lost his interest and spark at Yamaha and needs a change of team and bike to regain that in my opinion.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Fourth best I could do under circumstances

thomps000:
nihi.swann.7: Fast forward 1 week Jorge "excuse, excuse, excuse"... Really hard to respect this insecure little ****.. all those years at Rossi's side and he still has figured out how to gain respect... Own up to your faults Jorge!
I doubt you would go into work with bronchitis, let alone race around on a motorcycle for an hour at 200+ mph.
I doubt you would go into work with a broken collarbone and plate, let alone race a bike at 200+mph but Jlo did that in 2013 and the fans called him tough and super human.......bronchittis however, that's bad!

Clearly you've never had bronchitis. It saps energy, and if you didn't know riding a GP bike at 200mph requires a lot of energy.
No bronchitis but broken bones with surgery and I can tell you that I was not exactly bursting with energy the next day or even the next week....so what's your point?

MotoGP » Marquez unaware of Stoner discussions

"Bummer I'm not racing, no prep was needed as I wasn't planning on winning, just replacing a good friend and having some fun in Texas!:)" Another tweat from CS (go to Motomatters news site) Does this sound like Honda approached him and he wasn't interested? It does however explain why Honda turned him down.....just call up Honda and ask to circulate on one of their $Xm machines in the premier class of GP racing just for some fun in Texas??????? It puts Honda's response into context now doesn't it.....Go away and only come back if you committ to racing a full season, then we might talk shop! Oh, and because you are now the one chasing us, all previous offers are off the table and $x is all you will get! Sleep on it.......
