MotoGP » Deficit to top 'unacceptable' says Redding

Realist:
MattyMKO745: Why does anyone who set Cal, Danilo or even Aleix as an example to Scott seem to forget that they have crew chiefs who have a ton of experience with the bike their rider is riding... and this is something Scott doesn't have at the moment... so that time deficit at the moment is completly acceptable, it's not the end of the world... even his team said they will be better next time in Sepang, so why all of you haters don't wait at least to the end of both Sepang tests and judge then??
WHAT? Aleix's crew chief has "tons of experience" setting up a brand new Suzuki? Are you even thinking before you post?
For someone calling himself Realist, you are not that bright... he got new crew chief for 2015, who was already working with Suzuki and knows the bike... his previous chief, Matthew Casey went to Aspar to work with Nicky Hayden

You're missing my point. The bike, regardless of testing, is the most unpredictable of all of the bikes on the grid. It's an unknown factor. It's nonsense to suggest that Aleix is somehow in a better position than Redding, the guy on a Factory Honda.........with loads of precedent and data available.
Actually you're right, so I apologise... bike is unpredictable, because it's new... but Aleix is in better position in one thing compared to Scott... he has experience and that makes it a bit easier for him

drivan:
MattyMKO745: It's quite obvious that Scott is not pushing for a lap time and he said so on numerous occasions through the week... his first priority for this test is to get the basic things right, understand thr bike and get on completly with his crew chief and whole team... all that matters will happen from 29th March 2015 onwards
Nonsense regarding Redding. So when he does push then what? Top 10? Just not sold on Redding, hope he proves me wrong. Cal backing up his talk. Good for him!
why nonsense... of course Cal is faster, if you look how experienced team he has around himself, that has been working with that type of bike... has Chris Pike worked with that type of a bike, I don't think so... so relax and stop acting like it's the end of the world, because it's not

drivan: Redding is not living up to his wonder boy persona. Actually quite tired reading about him as he has proven he's mediocre.
new team, new bike, new brakes and shockers, new engineers, new every thing, knocked a second off his time in the last few hours, give em a chance
I believe for this test scott is running the bike as it was raced, ie showa/nissin, next test he will get the ohlin/brembo
you are wrong mate... he was running ohlins and brembo, which was one of many things new to him after a year!!!

1MoreRound: AE seems to have had a decent first go on a seriously unsorted bike- not bad thus far. He is a bit faster than RDP already and this is with a race tire, as well as being completely new to the machine. Expected a bit more from Redding, as he knows the Honda well enough I believe. What Cal did, having never rode one, is fairly good and Redding should be closer to CC's times.
Agree with you comment, just something to add... I, like many other expected a bit better from Redding, but considering he has completly new crew and new crew chief, who has never worked with that type of a bike, he has done okay... will get better for sure, don't need to worry about that
