MotoGP » Jerez testing times – Wednesday

Chadsays: I wonder how fast the Yamahas were? Hopefully within reach of the Kawasakis. Can't believe Nicky Hayden's performance, to be a full second ahead of his teammate tells me they really weren't going for lap times today. I'm impressed any way though, would be really nice if he could keep it up. With a new Suzuki on the horizon, I really hope Ten Kate can get the factory involved with help the team out. Ten Kate outfit has always been a top notch privateer team and it would be great to have them carry the banner with real support from BIG HONDA.
Yamaha boys said that Lowes did 1:40.8 and Guintoli 1:41.3, but they were without transponders, so take this times with reserve

MotoGP » Redding 'riding at about 80 percent of my limit'

ValeRoy: Let's see him at the Jerez or Sepang Test for that additional 20% percent riding. If its still the same results, 13, 14, 15... then we all know by that time its just hot gas from Scott.
He won't add 20% to his performance at Jerez, because he has only one bike until at least Sepang and doesn't want to crash... Focusing on getting the feel for the tyres and bike, doesn't care about lap time until later tests...

MotoGP » Redding 'riding at about 80 percent of my limit'

primal: Still don't know why ducati keep taking these ticketriders rossi, cal and now Scott big mouths and its always something or someone else fault why they aren't delivering what they talk about it is very fustrating as a ducati fan pirro more DESERVES that seat
It's very easy to understand why they wanted Scott for the last 3 years... They see a lot of talent in him and they think his style of riding will suit the bike.. Level of support he will receive from them just tells what they expect from him..

BSB » Hopkins joins Hill's Yamaha squad for 2016

Yearby23: Really hoping Hopper can get it together on the R1 next year. He deserves it. Heard a few rumours on the WSBK commentary apparently Milwaukee Yamaha might be moving up with Karel Abraham which seems like a sick joke and I hope they take Brookes instead.
Actually there is talk they could be taking Abraham and Brookes to the team... As for Hopper, I am really happy for him, expecting some nice results from him... And for second rider I would love to see Kyle Ryde..

WSBK » Forward partners up with MV Agusta in WSBK, WSS

StrangeRanger: This was a team that a month ago was ****-deep in legal troubles and now they're partnering with MV and by extension with Daimler-Benz. It boggles the mind. As for Melandri, I don't hold him in much esteem. As others have pointed out his attitude offsets his undeniable abilities and his riding tactics frequently cross the line. Has anyone heard what Alstare is up to these days? They haven't been heard from since the Bimota disaster. With Suzuki needing a team, BMW possibly coming back in earnest and the possibility of non-factory Yamahas it would seem that there are opportunities for a veteran team to re-join the series
I think Alstare turned their attention to car racing, don't know for sure... Grillini team went to Suzuki and offered that they would be willing to run the bikes, but Suzuki guys said no..
