MotoGP » Marc VDS pushing for Redding-Honda deal

and I actually like Marc a lot, but facts are facts... go read some interesting interviews about that subject, a lot of new things you will learn... and Miller will get Open bike, no chance of Factory... Scott will be at MarcVDS or maybe even at Aspar, if the decide to run 2 Open and 1 Factory bike... both team are very interested in the deal

MotoGP » Marc VDS pushing for Redding-Honda deal

biaggi:
windyman: Fact is scott is the only brit who has run with and beaten marques on a level playing field.if he was spanish or itailian sponsors would be queing up but none of the british businesses with that sort of money to spend are interested. Rather spend their money on athletics or some other bunch of no hopers.as for b.t.they only want to rip us off to keep the shareholders happy, not give anything back .way Britain has gone im afraid. Good luck scotty your the best we've got.
When did he beat Marquez?? as far as i know when they were racing together in moto2 Marc won 17 races and Redding 0. Redding wants that factory honda but i have a feeling that Nakamota will give it to Miller
before Repsol started dumping money into Marquez, Scott was wiping floor with him, so much better he was than Marc... he is as much talented as Marc is, no doubt about that, but he needs to build his steps instead off getting them on a plate...

9times: Alright alright... People think Redding would win the championship if he gets a Repsol. Well, that is not at all true. Redding, being a good rider(Not championship winning material) can only be up there(Maybe). This motogp is a circus run by HRC. Huge talents like Iannone should stay behind just for trophy riders such as Redding, Smith, Crutchlow... to get good rides!! lol
You cannot be serious!! talking that Scott is trophy rider, considering the fact he was the last guy who beat hMarc on equal machinery before Repsol started investing money in him, is disrespectful... I am keeping tabs on his career since he has started, and I have seen only one rider as talented as Marc, and that is Scott... Maverick is close, but not quite yet there... What would have happen is someone would invest money in Scott, like it was in Marc, it will never be known..

MotoGP » Sixth fastest Redding 'takes another step'

Yearby23 Honda actually cares about Scott a lot and whole HRC management is very keen to see him on Factory bike.. Especially Mr. Nakamoto ans Mr. Suppo are having a very close look to what Scott is doing on track and they are very impressed by his results... Also I think that HRC management is working with Scott and his manager Bartholemy to find a quick solution, because they don't want to lose him to Ducati..

biaggi:
Yearby23: TalentFan. I'm hoping MarcVDS will step in and sort something for Scott as Gresini is past it and hasn't been even remotely competitive since Gibernau/Melandri days or maybe even Simoncelli. Time for another team to take the reigns.
Scot is fast and i hope he has a competive machine next year. But i would love to see Vinales on repsol honda. He and Marc are the only guys that adapted really fast on moto2 machine.Mack would give Marquez a run for his money
You are a bit wrong about Scott... he, like Marquez and Maverick, adapted to moto2 veery quickly, but the results didn't come in first half of his first year for many different reasons...

MotoGP » Redding waiting on Gresini for MotoGP 2015

jschledermann: Scott Redding is at best a tier 2 rider. More likely he actually belongs in tier 3. Hearing him stating his demands like this is hilarious and shows that he is not really in sync with reality. Based on the times Casey Stoner could achieve on an Open Class Honda my humble opinion is that the complaints over the OC Honda says more about the driving skills of the complainers than about the Honda bike itself.
you really need to check the facts next time before writing something as stupid as this... first of all this 0.3s came from japanese test rider, not Stoner, even Nakamoto confirmed that... Stoner did 10 laps with Open bike and was 1.6s slower, so complains from Scott and every other open Honda riders are justified... secondly, he is not 2nd or 3rd tier rider, maybe in you delusional head... a lot of people in the paddock rate him as highly as Marquez, even HRC management is very keen to see him on Factory bike and that says it all...

MotoGP » Redding waiting on Gresini for MotoGP 2015

Rickykwak:
MattyMKO745: DM52 there is no chance Scott will end at LCR... it's bigger chance that Gresini will switch to Aprilia and Honda factory spec bike will be taken by MarcVDS...
Yep lets hope MarcVDS take the Honda's and Scott with them! Or maybe he could stay with Gresins on the Aprilia? Either way Scott does deserve the chance!!
if I understand his situation correctly, he will ride for antoher team if Gresini decides to switch to Aprilia, because he has no interest in riding that bike, too much of a risk and he has contract directly to HRC... at that point MarcVDS comes into the play...

MotoGP » Redding waiting on Gresini for MotoGP 2015

Turpiurfi: Redding is no Marquez yet I see potential by the way I'm a VR fan all day long so I'm not bias !!! Riding an open bike with roughly 30 less h.p is also a lot easier. Trust me I'm 5 sec a lap faster on an r6 then I'm on an r1 . Needless to say I would like to give the kid at least a chance to see what he can do. Why can't Honda give him an afternoon when they do usual testing days. Within five laps they would know if his worth anything!
actually there was a lot of talk that Honda will let him rider Factory bike on Monday in Brno at the test, but in the end it didn't happen... official reasons were that they didn't want to get Scott worried how much power is he losing on Open and also to keep Bautista happy... there would not be any harmony left in the team if Scott would beat Bautista's time in his first time on the bike...
