MotoGP » What to look out for in MotoGP 2016

Abefan: I thought Honda were obliged to supply two factory and two sattelite bikes? I hope the customer Honda is gone as it just wasn't competitive. I'm not sure what the regs are re supply as ducati seem to supplying half the field with everything from a gp16 right down to paul smarts cast off!!!! I reckon Millar might surprise Tito a bit and be top 6-8 regular.
Customer bikes are off, as is Open category with new rules... At least 2 factory and 2 satelites, but satelites could be more.. There was clarification of Ducati situation as well.. There is no problem with them suplying 8 bikes, will continue that in 2017 as well.. But GP14.2 won't be in use in '17, as far as I know.. Jack has so far advantage over Tito, that is sure.. Regarding top 6-8 regularity, it remains to be seen how competitive Honda will be, right now it doesn't seem much...

MotoGP » What to look out for in MotoGP 2016

Abefan: Re python.... I reckon if the rest remains equal, tyres , electronics etc, then even if Suzuki gain a half second a lap from the seamless that SHOULD allow the to challenge for the odd podium and regular top six. Its all speculation cos we don't know how certain riders will adapt. I reckon the ones with more experience ( time and changing bike wise) should find the electronics easier to manage than those that have only known 2014/15 all singing all dancing electronics. ??? Also, finally, is it confined that miller is getting a satellite rcv, or still riding customer slug??? I haven't read for sure either way!?!???
Jack will have the same bike as Marc, Dani, Cal and Tito.. Factory supported bike, no customer bikes at all from any manufacturer..

MotoGP » Jerez testing times – Wednesday

Chadsays: I wonder how fast the Yamahas were? Hopefully within reach of the Kawasakis. Can't believe Nicky Hayden's performance, to be a full second ahead of his teammate tells me they really weren't going for lap times today. I'm impressed any way though, would be really nice if he could keep it up. With a new Suzuki on the horizon, I really hope Ten Kate can get the factory involved with help the team out. Ten Kate outfit has always been a top notch privateer team and it would be great to have them carry the banner with real support from BIG HONDA.
Yamaha boys said that Lowes did 1:40.8 and Guintoli 1:41.3, but they were without transponders, so take this times with reserve

MotoGP » Redding 'riding at about 80 percent of my limit'

ValeRoy: Let's see him at the Jerez or Sepang Test for that additional 20% percent riding. If its still the same results, 13, 14, 15... then we all know by that time its just hot gas from Scott.
He won't add 20% to his performance at Jerez, because he has only one bike until at least Sepang and doesn't want to crash... Focusing on getting the feel for the tyres and bike, doesn't care about lap time until later tests...

MotoGP » Redding 'riding at about 80 percent of my limit'

primal: Still don't know why ducati keep taking these ticketriders rossi, cal and now Scott big mouths and its always something or someone else fault why they aren't delivering what they talk about it is very fustrating as a ducati fan pirro more DESERVES that seat
It's very easy to understand why they wanted Scott for the last 3 years... They see a lot of talent in him and they think his style of riding will suit the bike.. Level of support he will receive from them just tells what they expect from him..
