F1 » Rosberg ‘determined’ to hold on for title

Taipan, O.K let's forget the fanboy base for a minute. I'm a little bewildered as to your dislike of what I thought was a fellow countryman of yours. Where has this antagonism originated surely it can be as a consequence of the fanboy club as you put it. As each year roles in Lewis has thought a lot more before he speaks and from his character you know he wears his heart on his sleeve so naturally there is more emotion on display. Nevertheless people can relate more to him as a consequence and this has increased his support. I remember David Coulthard saying as much last weekend. We're all F1 fans but how can this bloke rub you up the wrong way I have no idea. I can't believe you really are of the opinion that since his arrival his fans have been a pollution to F1. The amount of new viewers to F1 on account of Hamilton is phenomenal that's why he is the world's most marketable sportsman currently.

Stupidity of the highest order, embarrassing clown, uneducated myopic fools, Taipan with all due respect it appears your feelings are a little more deep rooted then I realised but thank you for your frankness. Heaven forbid people supporting a particular driver on account of their nationality or then it might bring the sport into disrepute and ignominy. As Nigel Mansell so eloquently pointed out, home support accounted for so much more energy, motivation, drive, x factor call it what you will.

F1 » Brawn: Never say never to F1 return

richard: salan. marchionne is chairman of chrysler fiat, who own ferrari. he , i am sure, will soon appoint one person to be chairman of ferrari as an entity. the current situation is only temporary
Richard, this is what I thought after all as a CEO he can take over a role which is temporarily vacant, incorporate it as his own while waiting to appoint a new person. Makes sense. Chairman of Ferrari sounded improbable as a long term solution.

Lost, hardly Richard but thank you for your concern so to speak. I recall telling you I'm Australian living here in the UK some years back naturally this has slipped your mind and presumed I'm from the US. Assumption is the MOAF. As for ty I'm sure he can speak for himself. There are some prolific posters on here who reckon their part of a tag team.

Sounds like he is leaving the door open for a return presumably at the head of the table. If so looks promising for both parties. After all the majority of his success is from the days at Ferrari and I'm sure he could emulate his previous tenure. Naturally I'm in no doubt a lot of people in the business would flock to him if he were to be offered Luca de Montezemolo position.

Taz: The Fiat guy got Luca's position. Ross would be taking over from the car salesman bloke.
Quite right, thank you for pointing this out. I would have thought however that this is a couple of steps down for the CEO of FIAT who after all was in charge of Ferrari period!! Strange and weird, your in charge anyway why take over a position lower down when you can rule as CEO of the entire company? Or has he incorporated Luca's role while still CEO of Fiat?

F1 » Montezemolo leaves Ferrari

Anyone who reckons his head wasn't on the block is delusional. Let's face it how much longer is Ferrari going to decline? They need a radical shake up from the top to the very bottom of the hierarchical make up of the Company. Not just a change of the principal. He must have known he was going to face the barrel of the gun at some point. After all sooner or later someone at the top has to take the fall.
