F1 » Hamilton: Hard to see past Vettel for 2013 title

Keep the dream alive Bob, speculation as to what would have happened isn't reality my dear fellow. Who isn't to say Lewis would have passed the Hulk back. As for Button he was dropping him like a fly. What is it with these anti inflammatory posts every time a Hamilton thread comes up. Some people am sure just surf the web so as to see whether there are any Hamilton threads that they can be critical of.

F1 » McLaren 'won’t dwell on Hamilton departure'

blublz, statistically that might be the case however I am by no means talking about his erratic performance in one season or another. I was talking more on the issue of his overall driving ability in comparison to the rest of the paddock. If you are referring to this season when you say an almost perfect season and he delivers similar results to Fernando, well I would have to add that if he didn't have such a high rate of DNF's he would have surpassed Alonso to boot. Never mind this is all part and parcel of F1. I sincerely hope Mercedes are 100% behind him and are able to give him a fighting chance. Come to think of it, it's the same engine as that of the McLaren so in essence they just need to develop the aerodynamics to a better specification. I must admit it is easier said than done though. Cheers for your insight blublz.

F1 » McLaren 'won’t dwell on Hamilton departure'

Wow, It's quite remarkable that everyone seems to think that during the past six years he has only won one WDC by sheer luck. There is absolutely no doubt as to his driving abilities the issues clearly stems from McLaren's management and inability to provide a car that is consistent. As good as Button is I'm quite confident most people would say he is not in the same league as Lewis. I for one am rather glad Lewis has departed and we will be able to see how he performs in another team in comparison to his time at McLaren.

F1 » Hamilton: I’ve proved a point

I'm sure most people are aware of your status and drive as being on par with the best of the current crop of drivers. Your talent is well appreciated amongst the true F1 fans. You have nothing to prove to those of us who give true credit where it is due.

F1 » Perez: I want to fight for the title

Why not! The guy is just stating the obvious after all it is every drivers ambition to win the championship. His chances of that accomplishment have gone up now that he has joined McLaren, so I would not take his view out of context. Rather than a dream he is that much closer to attaining this goal at McLaren.

F1 » Hamilton: I won't be a title challenger in 2013

Although it would seem to be realistic commentary it is hardly approperiate to be slagging off your new team before you have even arrived. I would keep my mouth shut and let Mercedes develop the car to the best of therir abilities. As right as he may be it does not help your relationship with Mercedes to be making such comments. Another gaffe already I'm afraid to say.
