F1 » Hamilton blitzes Barcelona on final outing

I said it earlier on another thread, I truly hope this isn't an attempt by Lewis to grab some PR headlines by going all out on the minimal fuel load but rather a true reflection of a normal attempt on the super soft tyres. It would be nice come Melbourne the Mercedes team still has something up it's sleeve. This would without a doubt put the cat among the pigeons within the F1 paddock.

F1 » F1 Driver of the Year vote: Full results

Apart from the cars reliability and Kimi's exceptional consistency I would have thought he would be a little lower than the 2nd position awarded to him by our overall votes. After all credit where credit is due. Nonetheless I must add that I can't criticise the guy for staying out of trouble and being so consistent, however on the merits of the last 6 races which Sebastian Vettel came from behind to win the championship should have put him at the very least in 2nd position. Oh well guess most of us don't rate Vettel very highly despite three consecutive world championships to his name.

F1 » Horner: I'd have dumped Massa

How disrespectful can one get considering his opinion to drop Massa is neither here or there in relation to Ferrari. How sad can one be, he should consider his own driver line up rather than bad mouth poor old Felipe. Come on Christian you're a better character than that. Rather disappointing commentary from you on this occasion I'm sad to say.

F1 » Button: Hamilton's pace will 'surprise' Rosberg

Jenson is just telling it as it is, nothing new or unusual about his comments. Although I believe Rosberg is well aware of Hamilton's pace from their past association. The fact that he needed to put this out there is perhaps a testament to his genuine respect for Lewis be that as it may and unlike what the majority of people thought of the relationship between the two Brits.

F1 » Haug steps down at Mercedes

Well, well Richard true to your word. What needed to happen has happened. Now Brawn may have free reign to apply whatever methods he sees fit to get this team up to scratch. I can only see things getting better rather than worse for Mercedes now. Let's wait and see what they come up with.

F1 » McLaren 'won’t dwell on Hamilton departure'

Thank you for your reply Richard, perhaps his fans are over enthusiastic in relation to Lewis, nothing to get under your skin as such I would have thought. I have yet to see anyone who regards him as the second coming in F1 though. Nevertheless this is your opinion which you are rightly able and should express and as you rightly say he is not perfect however neither is anyone in this world. There is always a flaw in every human being in all walks of life no matter what they do. As always Richard, cheers mate and thank you for your exchange of views.
