F1 » Mercedes: Rosberg-Hamilton rivalry could get more heated

Come come now Richard, do we really have to go there? Lest we forget Rosberg's demeanour and loss for words when he doesn't get his way or for that matter the four consecutive wins he had no answer to. Every racing driver gets upset when they lose. The fact Hamilton is inclined to let his emotions get the better of him isn't an indication of a melt down on the contrary I believe it's starting to act in his favour as we can all relate to him closer than an iceman so to speak. Cheers Rich!

F1 » Hamilton calls for reliability improvements

107SS2009: Salan, take into consideration that we here are on a British site. 147, fan boys has been popping up like mushrooms since Hungary on here with some of them having the capability to zoo themselves.
With all due respect, both fan boys and anti fan boys as you so eloquently put it have a right to their opinion. It's the amount of Hamilton stories I was referring to. I must disagree with your reference to Crash being a "British site." Whether I'm in the U.S or Australia if I Google F1 then Crash comes up on the 1st page and notwithstanding this medium being the World Wide Web then by logic where the domain originates shouldn't really come into contention as anyone can access the info no matter where they are in the world. No disrespect intended. Regards

F1 » F1 2014 driver salaries published – but who earns most?

Salan: These figures don't include Winnings and sponsorships. If you look at Forbes publications it has Fernando and Lewis tied at £32 million for 2014. Not to mention the current negotiations in progress with some drivers. I wouldn't read to much into these figures.
Don't the Forbes figures include endorsements and money for opening supermarkets etc? These figure are reputedly the salaries only and probably exclude points bonuses, unless they know who is going to score what points up to the end of the season.
Just pointing out that salaries hardly make up the earnings of the drivers. Suffice to say if you had a true indication of the earnings for 2014 to date this order wouldn't be as it is consequently, what some of us would like to know is who makes the most as a F1 driver overall per annum.

F1 » Mercedes: Rosberg-Hamilton rivalry could get more heated

Richard, we've had our disagreements, banter on occasions and agreements on others, however I can't figure! It appears from the outside and if evidence from your past posts is anything to go by that you have a disdain dislike for Hamilton. Where has this originated from? I am assuming you are English but even if this is not so. I would have thought he brings a considerable amount of entertainment to the show and for that factor alone he doesn't deserve this amount of criticism. No offence intended however I'll put forth my apologies in advance should you fell offended in anyway. Regards

F1 » Button: No reason to want to change

Jenson wishes for the status quo to remain however I doubt the decision is his to make. As much as I like Jenson am afraid his time might be coming to an end at McLaren. With the negative comments of Ron Dennis not helping it appears he may be the scape goat McLaren are looking for in their ill fated season so far. Let's hope Jenson can turn things around in the remaining races.
