F1 » Alonso: I’d have taken six-point deficit in February

Mr consistent, Fernando has shown that consistency is key. I do hope however that Ferrari are able to give him the tools he needs to take the fight all the way. Last thing we need is a one way dominance of the last four. Realistically it's between Fernando and Sebastian with everyone else either being a hero or villain in the eyes of these two respective drivers and their teams.

F1 » Hamilton laments luck as rivals battle over title

I can't help but wonder what it is with these excessive diplomatic views Lewis keeps throwing out. Move on buddy, I understand his regret but it sounds like sour grapes from the readers prospective. It's good bye and good riddance to McLaren and Welcome and Hello to Mercedes as far as you are concerned my dear fellow. So lets not dwell too much about the past.

F1 » Hamilton 'driving better than ever'

Evening All, I see as always here on Crash.net we have another Hamilton story which is generating so much debate. I do regret however the amount of disapproval this guy seems to bring forth every time he opens his mouth. It's pretty sad really, I'm sure we can all debate things without construing every comment the guy makes as we see it. I mean he is entitled to comment about his driving as he best sees fit, who are we to say otherwise. Nevertheless it seems we have our resident experts who know better. If we look at the context of his comments it's hardly a story worth all this debate. I don't want to get in the middle of any personal exchanges but I'm just saying it as I see it.

F1 » JYS: Vettel no F1 great

You cant write a post here without peoples sensitivities being knocked. I mean, as a former world champion the guy is just expressing his opinion and as right or wrong as he may be one should really take all these commentaries with a pinch of salt. I personally said in an earlier post that no driver worth his salt is really great until they have driven for various teams and we are able to see there consistency no matter where they go. Having the best car is one thing, however, it is only when your car is not the best and your driving is sublime that you notice how good those drivers are. There is no doubting how good Vettel is but perhaps there is still a test awaiting him when he tries his luck elsewhere.

F1 » Hamilton: Alonso deserves the title

Folks here on Crash seem to get flustered every time a Hamilton story pops up. Man! what in heavens has this guy done to generate so much debate. I mean it's a legitimate view he has expressed and if you were to ask his peers to choose between Alonso or Vettel at this late stage in the Championship am sure a lot of them would also agree with him. Don't get me wrong should Vettel win it then surely he deserves it, however likewise I'm sure most folks don't want to see one team and driver dominate the sport every year surely.

F1 » Hamilton: Alonso deserves the title

I'm not sure about the majority of opinion here on Crash however I for one would tend to agree with Lewis on this point. It has been some considerable time since Alonso was last the world champion and as I have reiterated on another post the last thing I want to see is the same driver and team dominate the sport year after year. Takes us back to the Schumacher era, although entertaining for Schumacher fans ultimately it perhaps was becoming predictable and somewhat boring for those fans of F1 as a whole.

F1 » Button doubts wisdom of Hamilton move

Well he is entitled to say something in relation to his outgoing team mate. I personally feel Lewis has done all he can at McLaren and rightly so it's time for a new challenge be that as it may more difficult initially I'm sure in the long term things will get good. After all it's only a matter of time before a world class manufacturer like Mercedes get their act together. Likewise keep the faith Lewis!!
