MotoGP » Marquez confident ‘knowing how far we’ve come'

Avatar: Marc has employed a mature approach to the races thus far, it will be fascinating to see how he manages his lead in the championship in the upcoming races....
On the subject of maturity I found the Post-Jerez-Race interview fascinating. MotoGP have put it on YouTube. Marc has clearly done a lot of thinking through the winter, and not just about avoiding crashing. Yes, no shaking of hands with Rossi yet, nor a private or public apology, but he is doing the nearest thing there is. He always refers to Rossi as "Valentino", and, amazingly, he called Rossi's win an "incredible performance" in that press conference ! Add this to him declaring pre-Argentina that last year's clash was his mistake, and, as a Rossi fan I have found the 2016 Marquez a pretty likeable & genuine person regardless of what happened in 2015. Amazing what this thing called "maturity" does for some people ! For Marquez it's looking good. Maybe a private apology eventually ...
You're wasting your time Rossi will never apologise!!!!!!

MotoGP » POLL: Jorge Lorenzo: Yamaha or Ducati?

Luvnit: He should go to Ducati. Riders need to test themselves and face challenges so this will be a massive move for Lorenzo. It won't be as daunting as when Valentino did the same thing though as the Ducati is a much better bike now. This will not stop the comparisons though as ridiculous as they will be! People just want to put Valentino down as often as they can!
The Ducati is a better bike now? Stoner had just won loads of races on the same bike the year before Rossi went. How many has it won recently?

MotoGP » Rossi: We'll have to do better

Guna4699: Being precise, Qatar 2016 is the first race since Valencia 2013 where valentino finished a proper dry race out of podium by his own lack of pace. Awesome consistency... Exclude Last 3 races from 2015 we know why. Also exclude Argentina 2014 as a satellite rider missed his brake marker and pushed valentino wide in turn 5, where he lost solid 3 or 4sec and ended up around 2sec behind JL who finished 3rd.
What about Valencia 2015???

MotoGP » Rossi: I'm ready and motivated - let's go!

Wob58: It's not an excellent question at all. So many untruths.
So what you're saying is that Marquez, a rider known for being banzai, didn't try any banzai moves on Rossi last year? ...all of which backfired on him? ...and what you're also saying is that Rossi wasn't robbed of the title (or a fair ending) because of Marquez's behavior? Now, you could surely disagree with my latter statement because it's a matter of opinion/perspective depending on the person observing the situations, but you surely cannot deny (and maintain your credibility) if you disagree with my first statement. EVERYBODY in the motoring world saw Marquez try to stuff his bike where it didn't belong or make questionable moves throughout the season (as he did the season before and in Moto2).
He races, he tries to win, call them banzai if you like. He is the only guy who consistently wins on the Honda, he is doing things on that bike that no one else can do and that is why we should all enjoy it. Rossi wasn't quick enough end of, Marquez did not lose him the title. No matter what, Rossi would have qualified 12th in Valencia as he fell off under pressure. He was too slow on the day. MM won the moto2 WT, have you looked back and seen Iannones. Pols, Reddings etc moves in Moto2 they were all racing and it was a brilliant season. Hope that answers your questions..... Remember it's racing, enjoy it.......
