MOTOGP » Qatar MotoGP: Rossi choses 'different way' to Jorge

There seems to be a lot of speculation based on limited testing information. We won't know how competitive each rider or bike is until after the first few races. The Yamaha is usually the more forgiving bike but the Honda can do very well if the rider can tame it's bad habits. I suspect that the action will be very hot at the front with up to 5 riders swapping paint at times.

MOTOGP » Yamaha: MotoGP should move out of Europe

The reality is that motorsport isn't popular in the general population. The F1 race in Melbourne is constantly facing opposition from locals about disruption and politicians about cost. I personally don't care where the races are as long as it is good racing on great tracks. Has anyone seen recent pics of Valencia? It has been vandalised and looted. I doubt that there is enough political will in Spain to spend millions on tracks when the economy is so bad and unemployment is at record levels.

F1 » Vettel says sorry to Red Bull staff

Team orders should be banned and cars provided with tyres that allow them to race on the limit. This farce of tyre preservation dressed up as racing is ridiculous. If Bernie wants a show or a spectacle they need to re-evaluate the whole program including technical limitations, tyres, team orders, etc.

F1 » Massa: I can be a contender

As long as Massa keeps scoring good points it will only take one more DNF from Alonso to put him in the picture. Given the way the drivers have to nurse the cars these days it's not necessarily the fastest driver who wins races. Whoever is able to manage their tyres and fuel the will win. If Massa is better at that than Alonso their in no reason he can't beat him.

F1 » Brundle: Red Bull has a huge problem

When it is all said and done, two wrongs don't make a right and even though Mark was not happy to be passed by Vettel trying to push him into the pit wall at 200 mph was not the way to handle it. Mark is desperate to win a title before he retires and probably saw the win as a step in that direction. Taking that win away has effectively denied him that last chance. Perhaps if he hadn't been so hard-headed in the past Vettel may have been more accommodating - who knows?
