F1 » Prost warns Hamilton change is necessary

I sense that Prost is disappointed that Hamilton seems unable to change his "all out racer" style to a more measured style that is necessary to get the best out of the tyres. Vettel on the other hand has worked hard to understand the dynamics of the tyres and how to extract the most from them. Until Hamilton understands the need to change his approach he will not win another title.

F1 » Champions dominate Ecclestone's ultimate grid

I much prefer Taipan's list to Bernie's although I might swap a couple around and I would like to sneak Sir Jack in there somewhere. I believe that Senna's raw talent, for me at least, puts him above Prost. I might also elevate Ascari up the list a bit - maybe swap him with Rindt. It is always difficult to rank drivers, especially when the likes of Villeneuve, Senna and Clark were taken from us too soon.

F1 » Vettel stuns with record-breaking pole

Just to remind a few people that F1 is a TEAM sport. The driver has the responsibility to extract the most he can from the car he is given to drive. The team that builds the car that allows their drivers to perform the best usually wins. I personally think it would be interesting to put Vettel in the Mercedes and Hamilton in the RB9 just to see how it would pan out. I have my own ideas of what the outcome would be. Consistency and focus play a bigger part than some people here give credit for.

MotoGP » Malaysian MotoGP, Sepang - Race Results

@ Vilas Are you seriously saying that Pedrosa beat Stoner last year on talent alone. Perhaps you have forgotten the compound fracture of the ankle that Stoner got at Indy. The guy missed 3 races and rode with the injury in 2 races prior to Phillip Island where he won easily. I can accept you don't like Stoner but please stay with the facts. BTW, I am not a Stoner fan. I just couldn't let that rubbish slide without comment.

I do think Rossi should consider retirement. He has nothing to prove and he must be getting tired of finishing 4th. Dorna has a new publicity magnet in Marc and he now seems to have a solid fanbase. On a different note, if Jorge wants to take the moral high ground he should set a better example for Marc. Ramming Marc like that is sending mixed messages about what is acceptable. Congrats Dani on a great ride. You deserved that win today riding in pain from the big Aragon high-side.

MotoGP » Marquez: It would be interesting to ride with Stoner

I think a couple of things need to be clarified. Believe it or not the guys who drive the V8s are VERY fit, especially at this time of the year with the endurance races, so that is not an issue for Stoner. However, Stoner will NOT come back to MotoGP. He wants to stay healthy and be with his wife and child and he hates the politics of MotoGP with a passion. When you read the comments in this thread it should be obvious why he won't come back.
