F1 » Still a lot of work to do at Ferrari, says Allison

ProfessorX:
btr100: Ferrari will try to pit less than Mercedes. That was how Lotus was winning against Red Bull in the past. And that's something Kimi is familiar.
that might work if Lewis manages to lose 1.5 free practices per round, and Merc overreact with their strategy. That won't keep the commentators *from talking about Ferrari's magical ability to manage their tires though.
Isn't that record worn out yet?

F1 » Vettel ‘lucked’ into Ferrari win, says Button

In all sports there is often an element of luck. I believe Vettel had a good idea how Ferrari were progressing because he has been keeping a close eye on developments at Ferrari and chose his time to make the move. In this case it was probably a combination of judgement plus good luck. I would say the same thing about Lewis' move to Mercedes. These guys are not stupid and they weight up all the information they have. I also think Alonso may be proven right in the longer term. You can't expect a new team with a new PU to be at the pointy end of the field in its first season.

F1 » What we learned at the Malaysian Grand Prix

wtf:
ProfessorX: we learned that if Lewis misses almost two free practices his setup can be compromised. we also learned that the commentators are not interested in thinking too hard about the cause of irregular tire degradation. And, we learned that Mercedes don't really inspect or check out cars before they roll them out for FP1.
Like a broken record !! Almost as many excuses as your idol!! I learnt that Seb did an awesome job and Ferrari made a great strategy call. Like what RB did for many years.
I find it easier to just ignore him. It's the same thing over and over on every thread.
