F1 » Domenicali stands down at Ferrari

I am a Ricciardo fan and I don't really have an interest in Alonso or Raikkonen. But I love Ferrari. F1 doesn't only need them, they need them to be at the top. They had 5 years of pure dominance in the Schumacher era, but their last drivers championship was 7 years ago. I would love to see the red cars winning again. I think most fans like Domenicali, I sure do, he is a very nice guy. But if he thinks this will help the team, then I hope it does.

F1 » Ricciardo hit with 10 place grid penalty

This is just too harsh. What the hell is going on in the Stewards room? How bloody ridiculous. They already gave him a penalty during the race, the pit lane was completely empty when he had the problem, the wheel never came off the car, and as stated above he never actually left the blue middle section of the pit lane. I have never seen a penalty this harsh for an unsafe release. The FIA has just gone from been a 99% complete joke to been a 110% complete joke.

F1 » What we learned at the Australian Grand Prix

I have just read a comment on another site (I'm not sure if it has been said here) in regard to the fuel flow sensor on Ricciardo's car. The comment said: "The answer as it should always have been would be to fit fuel flow limiting devices to the cars as opposed to fuel flow sensors. Why set a limit and then only monitor it? Use a regulator calibrated to a max of 100kg/h and take away the ambiguity. Simple." Which makes so much more sense than having a sensor. Why then did the FIA decide to have a sensor rather than a limiter?

F1 » Ricciardo excluded from Australian GP

F1 teams, especially Red Bull spend millions upon millions of dollars to race these cars for the best possible result, which means they are very smart. Too smart to make such a silly error which is heavily policed by the F.I.A. As Higdog has mentioned, even if the car did exceed the limit the team will have a way out of it, Red Bull are very good at reading regulations.

F1 » Elated Rosberg still aware of work to do

ThePaddock1: great job for yourself and the team, carry on like that mate and i think you have a very good shot at the championship, you look so fast nico, i think daddy won adalaide in 85 another country your've both won in!
I remember one of the Crash articles before the season that was about how Ecclestone favoured Rosberg for the championship. I know it's only the first race, but he does look in good shape.

F1 » Australian Grand Prix - Qualifying results

ThePaddock1: @ wtf lol @webberton i think you find every driver was fighting the car did ya see hammi lap on board he had opposite lock on at least 3 times massa nearly lost it at high speed but corrected it kvyat couldn't quite get the rear end back round and slid off. every driver was correcting out of corners.
Yes every driver was correcting out of corners, which resulted in lots of replays of drivers going off, including the 2007 world champion. It's just that we aren't used to seeing Vettel having to work so hard with the car, and it was good to see. All I'm saying is that I hope this season doesn't turn into a massive Vettel bashing every time he gets a poor result.
