F1 » Who has been your F1 driver of the year so far?

ryanshek: The Hulk got my vote, out scored the overrated Perez more than double (hows he got the McLaren drive last year was beyond me), come on Ferrari, McLaren, give the guy a chance!!!
Perez earned the McLaren seat because he put himself on the podium 3 times before he signed for them, and he has demonstrated good pace and talent in midfield cars. Hulkenberg hasn't finished higher than 4th.

F1 » Singapore to host F1 Masters

Whenever I hear "F1 Masters" I imagine something completely different. It would be heaps good if they had another racing series for retired F1 drivers, give them all the same car with basic setup changes of course, and just have a short fun race when F1 isn't using the main track. Imagine the likes of Hakkinen, Coulthard, Barrichello, and Montoya racing each other around for fun!

F1 » Six of the Best: One-off winners

Strider: Decent list, although in my opinion Maldonado should have been omitted. Plenty of other one off winners who were better than our regular source of crash material. Vittorio Brambilla, Jarno Trulli, Carlos Pace, Olivier Panis, Jean Pierre Beltoise, and Peter Gethin should have been included for the nature of his win alone. Anyway, I like these pieces, would be good to have more of them.
I agree with you on that one, these articles make a nice refreshing brake from the usual news. I enjoy going back through the history books a little bit.

F1 » Melbourne to retain Australian GP until 2020

As a proud Australian my reaction to this is 100% pure "Meh". I'd be thrilled to see the Grand Prix at Adelaide or Bathurst. Bathurst does have a very rough surface, which is why it's not a prime candidate for the F1 calender. That said however, if teams can spend millions upon millions of dollars developing cars, surely they can make them handle a slightly bumpy road. Remember, Bathurst is still a proper dedicated racing circuit. (INB4 it's actually open everyday as a public tourist drive). Anyway, it's great for Australia and I'm happy it's secured :)
